Boise State has already made history by becoming the first Non-AQ team in history to receive an invite to the BCS National Championship. Boise State will have two huge questions to answer. Number one, can Boise State's defensive line match up with the offensive line of West Virginia, get pressure on Smith and stop the run game of Heisman Winner, Devine? Number two, can Boise State QB, Kellen Moore stay calm under pressure while in the pocket and not turn the ball over? If Boise State can manage to do both, then they will most likely win this game.

The Boise State Broncos were too much to handle for West Virginia in the BCS National Championship game. Boise State dominated every aspect of the game. They scored offensively, forced turnovers on defense, and even scored on special teams. West Virginia chose to receive the opening kick off and Boise State made them pay; Boise State forced West Virginia to fumble the ball on the opening kick-off, Potter scooped up the loose ball and ran it in to quickly go up 7-0. From then on, the Boise State Broncos never looked back. The Broncos out-scored West Virginia 34 to 7 in the first 3 quarters. Offense struggled for both teams as both teams turned the ball over multiple times. The Boise State Broncos finish the season 13-0. Improve their current and longest winning streak in the nation to 27-0. They made history by becoming the first Non-AQ team to get an invite to the BCS National Championship. They proved to the nation that they can play with and beat anyone in the nation. The Boise State Broncos are BCS National Champions!

Coach Pete: "We played well out there. We had a hard time moving the ball on the ground, but once Kellen Moore settled down out there, we were able to get things going through the air against the No. 1 Pass Defense in the country. I'm proud of the team, they played hard and they deserve this. We are going to enjoy this, celebrate, and then get back to work in the spring."
