November 19th - Mufreesboro, TN

Another wild ride for the Red Wolves(7-4)(5-2) on the road for the last time this season. Kicker Bobby Zalud was the hero putting up the last 3 points for the Red Wolves with only :01 second remaining. The Red Wolves fought hard against a pass heavy Middle Tennessee State(2-8)(1-5) team, bringing a nice battle in the fourth quarter. Taylor Stockemer took away the player of the game award scoring 2 of the 3 passing touchdowns from Ryan Aplin. Sirgregory Thornton put up over 100 yards on the ground after Jermaine Robertson left the game early in the first with a concussion. The Red Wolves will have the next week off before facing rival Troy at home.

Taylor Stockemer reaches for one that goes for 6!

Zalud watches as the final points are put on the board!

December 2nd - Jonesboro Sun Sports

The Red Wolves remain placed in the top spot of the Sun Belt going in to the last week of college football. The Red Wolves will face the Troy Trojans for the Sun Belt championship. With a loss on Saturday for the Red Wolves, the Florida Atlantic Owls can take the Sun Belt with a victory against Louisiana Monroe. But if both those teams lose, it would mean a four way tie for the Sun Belt creating havoc for the bowl selection committee.

- Arkansas State defeated ULM October 8th (17-10), FAU on November 5th (24-21), and will face Troy Saturday, December 3rd.
- Florida Atlantic defeated Troy on November 19th (24-21), Lost to Arkansas State (21-24) on November 5th, and will face ULM on Saturday, December 3rd.
- ULM lost to Arkansas State on October 18th (10-17), defeated Troy the following week (28-11) and now will face the Owls this Saturday.
- Troy lost to FAU on November 19th (38-28) and lost to ULM on October 15th (28-11), and will face the Red Wolves on December 3rd.

Both Arkansas State and Troy are bowl eligible and will be seeking a rivalry win. While the Owls and Warhawks are seeking bowl eligibility, but only one will leave the field 6-6.

Pretty big game for Arkansas State, looking forward to seeing you taking the Sun Belt Conference title. I can only imagine the madness that would ensue if you and Florida Atlantic both lost, but let's not hope for that lol

Re: An Inch at A Time: The Todd Brooks Legacy (NCAA 12)

December 3rd - Jonesboro, AR

Breaking news came into the locker room before the Red Wolves took the field for their last home game. The Florida Atlantic Owls beat the Warhawks 24-10. The coaches decided to let the players know about the game before taking the field to give them a boost against the Trojans. The Owls now 6-6(6-2) will be watching the Red Wolves as they will decide the winners of the Sun Belt. Will it be the Owls taking their 2nd Sun Belt title in 6 years and only being in the Sun Belt since 2006, or will the Red Wolves take their 2nd Sun Belt title? Its GAMETIME!!!

December 3rd - Jonesboro, AR

Misfortune and plague struck the Red Wolves(7-5)(5-3) again at home this year, costing them the Sun Belt championship. The Red Wolf defense could not shut down the Trojans (7-5)(5-3) and a few costly turnovers by the Red Wolves offense sure didn't help. The Red Wolves will now anxiously wait to see if they will be granted another game by the bowl selection committee. The Red Wolves defense has hurt the team this year letting nearly almost as many points scored for, scored against. But there is always next year for winning the Sun Belt for this young team. Derek Lawson will return to the field if the Red Wolves can make it to the bowl season to find hope for an 8th win.

Re: An Inch at A Time: The Todd Brooks Legacy (NCAA 12)

December 13th - Jonesboro, AR

The Red Wolves have been left out of the Bowl season for another season. The Red Wolves were looking great throughout most of the season, but a few costly losses plagued the Red Wolves from moving onto a bowl game. Arkansas State will have plenty of changes this off-season, including fixing problems as one of the worst pass defenses in the nation. Defense is really what killed the Red Wolves all season, every time the offense put up points, the defense failed to hold. We will keep you posted throughout the offseason on how the Red Wolves are changing and improving.
