Looks great so far! Just wondering, how do you take the videos? Are you uploading the created highlights videos to EA Sports? How do you embed them into the post? I could do it for last year's game, but I can't figure out how to get the html code from the EA website. Thanks!

Be careful with Arkansas State...they can be a bit tricky.

I don't think you can embed the the video directly from EA anymore, but you can download them. So I download them and then upload them to YouTube and embed from there.

Cameron Meredith records his 3rd sack of the game to secure the win

Unimpressive Huskers avoid being upset

Lincoln, NEB. -- While not dominant, the Nebraska Cornhuskers appeared to have their game against Arkansas State well under control, for the first half at least. As one analyst said, "watch out the Red Wolves, they can be a little tricky.

Entering the locker room with a 20-0 lead, Nebraska managed only three points in the second half. Thankfully for Husker fans it was just enough to get the win.

Arkansas State put up 21 second half points thanks to some outstanding play from running back Sir Gregory Thornton. However, the Blackshirts stepped it up at the end with Cameron Meredith recording of two of his three sacks on the Red Wolves final two offensive plays to give the Huskers a narrow 23-21 win.

Mauro Bondi started off the scoring with his first of three field goals to give Nebraska a 3-0 lead after one quarter.

Jamal Turner scored his first rushing touchdown of the season after taking the pitch from Taylor Martinez on a wide receiver option play to make it 10-0 Huskers early in the 2nd quarter. After a second Bondi FG, Nebraska ended the half with a 43 yard touchdown pass from Martinez to Kenny Bell. It appeared the Cornhuskers had all the momentum at the break.

The second half was different story. With the Nebraska offense treading water, Arkansas State used misdirection to take advantage of the Huskers overly aggressive defense.

Sir Gregory Thornton tore up the Huskers, rushing for 110 yards on just 12 carries. Thornton would account for all the third quarter points with a 37 yard TD run, followed by a 21 yard receiving touchdown on a screen pass to make the score 20-14 entering the fourth quarter.

Another Bondi field goal made it 23-14 Nebraska with 4:51 to play, but the Red Wolves refused to fold. After Arkansas State QB Ryan Aplin, hooked up with Taylor Stockemer for a 53 yard touchdown, his team trailed by just two.

Arkansas State attempted an onside kick, but it was easily recovered by the Huskers. The Red Wolves would use all three of timeouts and force the Huskers to give them one final shot at the win.

Cameron Meredith and the defense came through late for the Huskers as Meredith sacked Aplin on third and fourth down to stop any hope Arkansas State had.

Meredith was awarded, "Player of the Game" honors thanks to his three total sacks and 10 total tackles.

Taylor Martinez threw the ball fairly well completing 18 of 26 passes for 259 yards and 1 TD, but he also committed the Huskers first turnover on the season, an interception that set up the second third quarter TD for Arkansas State. Conversely, Martinez was a non-factor in the running game. After a 251 yard performance last week, Martinez managed just 13 yards on 21 carries.

Rex Burkhead once again carried the load for Huskers gaining 111 yards on 22 carries and tied for team high in receptions with 4 for 47 yards. Jamal Turner also caught 4 passes for 59 yards to go with his 5 yard TD run.

Nebraska wraps up it's 2012 non-conference schedule next week with a visit from Division 1AA Idaho State. The game should be another Huskers win, but if today proved anything its that no opponent should be taken lightly.
