Ever since he was a little kid growing up on the north side of Memphis, Tennessee, DeAnthony Turner loved the game and knew he wanted to somehow be involved in the game. When it appeared to him in high school that he would never accomplish his dream of playing in the NFL, he decided he wanted to go into coaching.

He then went to his hometown college -- the University of Memphis -- to learn his trade. Unfortunately though, it wasn't the best experience for him -- he only played in 5 games in his entire college career at Memphis, and even worse, the team was in a great deal of turmoil for his entire 4 years there.

Even still, Mr. Turner kept at it, and he was rewarded for his persistence, as Justin Fuente, the new head coach, saw some promise in the young man, and promoted him to offensive coordinator from grad assistant at the young age of 23.

Re: The Coaching Career Of DeAnthony Turner (NCAA 13)

Memphis picked to finish 5th in C-USA East, 11th overall in conference.

The C-USA coaches have released their picks to win the league. In the East, the coaches think Central Florida will be the winner of that division, with Southern Miss finishing 2nd, ECU finishing 3rd, Marshall finishing 4th, and your Memphis Tigers finishing 5th in the polling. UAB is the only team behind Memphis in this year's standings.

In the West, the coaches have picked the Houston Cougars in a landslide, with SMU finishing 2nd. Tulsa and Tulane finished 3rd and 4th in the polling, with UTEP and Rice bringing up the rear.

It will certianly be a tough go for the Tigers, as it seems they have no guaranteed wins on the schedule.
