Michigan signs #1 on Sparq 100

Today, Ryan Brown, a 5-star running back from Washington Ter, UT signed with the team that is currently ranked #1 in the nation, the Michigan Wolverines. Coach Brady Hoke has been looking for a solid piece in the puzzle for his pro-style offense that he will be piecing together in the next year or so, most likely after Denard Robinson wraps up his career in Ann Arbor.

Brown has been scouted heavily by many teams, including Miami (FL), Oklahoma State, Texas, Oklahoma, and of course the Wolverines. Hoke and offensive coordinator Al Borges are very happy with the signing of Brown.

The Wolverines are now ranked #2 in recruiting classes, right below Alabama.

Aresco added that he has been looking around to add a few more teams to the conference to build it up anyway.

It looks like this year's college football off-season could wind up being quite an interesting one, with many changes going around the nation.
I like this move. Penn State can chill out and restructure itself in a less competitive conference and it makes room for another possible transition for some team out there looking to make a step-up in conference level. Maybe a team like Va Tech

Re: Hail to the Victors | A Michigan Wolverines Dynasty [NCAA Football 13]

I thought about throwing a curveball and having Penn State stay, ND join up with B1G, and them getting another team as well, turning it into a 14 team conference.

They're always a Top 25 team year after year, but I feel they don't get much credit in the ACC. They're close to a lot of B1G schools in location and I think they'd be a welcome addition if they decided to make a conference switch.

Just food for thought...

EDIT: Plus, it would split them away from the conference their in-state rival is in. They could be like Georgia-Georgia Tech, Iowa-Iowa State, Florida-Florida State, etc...could be a good excuse to ditch the ACC.
