Patriots miss Playoffs!
First time since 2008...

Foxboro, MA - The power of the New England Patriots has finally lost it's luster. Not since the 2008 Brady-less year, going 11-5, has the Patriots missed a Playoff run. The goal of Coach Gerard was to finally make it to the Super Bowl. Both that dream and the dream of the New England Patriots will have to wait another season.

Watching from your couch is something that most NFL players hate when it comes to Playoff time. Most players don't even watch. I don't expect Kyle Angle to spend any time on the couch this January as he feels that it was his downfall. We should expect to see better things from him next year and hopefully two-thirds less interceptions.

New England looks forward to the NFL Combine and Free Agent time as it will be needed to re-build a playoff contending team. Having Join Noel back next year should allow the Patriots to have a two-headed monster in that backfield. The wide receivers need to stay healthy all next year. Defense will be a big focus as the team is getting older. Mayo, Spikes, Merriman, Wilfork and DRC will have to find ways to keep themselves young in order to fight to stay on the field next year once all the young athletes take charge in the pre-season.

We will follow these playoffs for the next month and then bring you some off-season work. Here's to the Patriots in 2016...
