Richardson Continues to Impress Despite Cleveland Loss

Trent Richardson played for the 1st Quarter in the Browns' 20-24 loss to the Eagles. Trent Richardson had 102 yards and a touchdown. Trent Richardson carried the ball 5 times. Trent Richardson is the captain of this Cleveland ship.

With both quarterbacks somewhat struggling, although it is only preseason, fans can already tell that the offense is going to have to rely on Trent Richardson as the main factor of production. He has already scored this year on the ground in the backfield and on special teams.

"He's great. A real class act. I've never seen anybody adjust so easily at the next level. This guy is a rookie. It's hard to believe. Whether its on the field or in the locker room, Trent isn't afraid to show off his leadership. And have you seen him run? He's explosive, quick, and hard to take down. What else can you ask for? He'll be getting the ball a lot this season." -Coach Lamm

The Browns are wrapping up the preseason by hosting the Bears in what will be the last chance for anybody on the borderline of being cut to make an impression.

Haha I'm actually a Giants fan (good win today ) but after watching Trent Richardson play I knew I had to use him in Madden lol. The Browns are a good team to try and rebuild, definitely a challenge.

The Cleveland Browns have cut center Garth Gerhart, defensive end Emmanuel Stephens, outside linebacker Emmanuel Acho, wideout Josh Cooper, running back Brandon Jackson, and defensive tackle Ishmaa'ily Kitchen.

@SkipBaylessEA: By the end of this year, I think we'll all be able talking about Trent Richardson as a top back in the NFL.

Browns Get Blown Out at Home, Ends Pre-Season on a Sour Note

"Well, thank God it's just preseason, right? We have to do a better job than that. There is no way tonight should ever happen again. We let the Bears come in to our stomping-ground and kick the sh*t out of us!"

It was clear to everyone in the post-game conference room that Coach Lamm was upset by this loss. Every Browns' fan in the stadium was. The Bears came into Cleveland and won 51-14. Matt Forte had 4 Rushing TDs.

It was hard to tell if the Browns offense even played tonight, as they didn't do much things productive. The starting offense got shut out, as the Browns scored twice in the 4th Quarter. It's a cruel joke to say this game wasn't as close as what the score indicates. Hopefully the team can turn this around as the regular season is just around the corner.

IN OTHER NEWS: The Cleveland Browns have signed FA Michael Jenkins to a 1yr/$1.8M deal and have cut Guard Jarrod Shaw.

Game Notes
Fans will be claiming deja vu as these teams played each other in the exact same arena just 2 weeks ago in the preseason. Except now it counts. The Eagles came into Cleveland and left with a close win, 24-20. Vick was a dual threat as usual and had no problem running on this defense. The experts say he'll do it again, except this time he'll be on the field for more than the first quarter. Prediction: Eagles Win 31-14

Philadelphia Dream Team Dominates Season Opener

It was a long day for Browns fans everywhere as their team took a beating, losing 33-10 at home. The opening play from scrimmage L.McCoy took 80 yds to the house. It only got worse.

The very next kick return was fumbled by CLE T.Benjamin and recovered by Philly. The very next play Vick threw a strike to B.Celek in the back of the endzone. In around 2 minutes the Browns were down 14-0. There was no turning back at that point.

Alex Smith dropped 3 open passes all on third down. Cleveland also failed to convert on 4th and goal. The Eagles then drove 98 yds for an easy score.

Anything that looks close on the stat sheet, numbers aren't everything. This was a good ole' fashioned a**kicking. The Browns go on the road next week to play division rival Cincinnati. Hopefully the outcome is much, much different.

Game Notes
Both teams are coming off losses from week one. The Browns have the worst ranked offense in the NFL and the Bengals are not far behind ranking in at 30. They also had a problem stopping the run last week. Prediction: The Browns come back with some fight in them and T.Richardson has his breaking out game with 100Yds rushing and 2TDs. Browns win 28-21
