Re: Jon Gruden in St. Louis (M13)

Week 4

With a comfortable 21-6 lead going into the 4th quarter, the Rams were looking good. Unfortunately the Ravens came back to win 28-21 ending the Rams Pre-Season with a 1-3 record. Gruden was still happy with the game as recently acquired HB Rashad Jennings ran well and scored a TD. Except him and Cadillac Williams to lead the rushing attack this season. The Rams are anxious to get the season started.

DT Shaun Smith suffered Broken Ribs early in the game. Except him to sit for at least 4 weeks.

Cut HB Darren Evans

Signed HB Keiland Williams

Traded 2013's 4th, 5th, and 7th round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for HB Rashad Jennings

Pre-Season Recap

The Rams finished 1-3 in the Pre-Season. They played well on defense but could never get a thing going on Offense. The OL has been completely restructured, Gruden was changing HB's each week, and the WR depth chart got tempered with. They did get a little spark in Week 4 vs Baltimore but it wasn't enough to win. The Rams have to do something and fast. They can't except an average defense to take them to the playoffs.

Re: Jon Gruden in St. Louis (M13)

2012 Season Preview

Players to Watch
DT Michael Brockers
Brockers played only 4 quarters in the entire Pre-Season yet managed to get 11 tackles and 3 sacks. No doubt he will be the star of this defense or years to come.

92 Block Shed - 87 Pursuit - 89 Tackle
Needs improvement in Awareness

TE Lance Kendricks
Even if Kellen Winslow is the starter this year, Kendricks will be the starter soon without a doubt. 20 catches and a TD put him as the top receiver during the Pre-Season.

76 Catch - 72 Catch in Traffic - 80 Spectacular Catch
Needs improvement in Intangible skills

MLB Jay Dwyer
Playing 12 quarters, Dwyer was the lead tackler with 27 tackles and a sack. Playing backup to Laurinaitis, he will develop into a huge star being only 20 years old.

84 Tackle - 82 Speed - 88 Block Shed - 84 Pursuit
Needs improvement in Awareness

Re: Jon Gruden in St. Louis (M13)

Week 1

Upset Silenced by Matthew Stafford

Throwing 4 interceptions didn't stop Matthew Stafford from beating the St. Louis Rams in Sunday's week 1 matchup. Stafford went 18 for 29 throwing for 363 yards. He also threw 3 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. The Rams had the lead up until the last few minutes when Stafford hooked up with Megatron Calvin Johnson for a 80 yard TD pass. The Lions escaped with a 27-26 victory.

The Rams had 99 rushing yards on 37 carries split between Rashad Jennings, Cadillac Williams, and lead rusher Keiland Williams. Sam Bradford had a good season opener throwing for 203 yards and a touchdown. The Rams made good progress and are getting ready for next week's home opener hosting the Washington Redskins.

Ohio State Slim Jenkins is a powerhouse left tackle that scouts can't ignore.

No one is coming into the college season with more expectations than Alabama QB Konnor Shepard.

Week 2

Rams over 'Skins 19-13

20-32 228 Yards 2TD 1INT -- The numbers QB Sam Bradford put up in Sunday's 19-13 win against the (0-2)Washington Redskins. Congratulations to rookie DT Michael Brockers getting his first sack in the NFL which also happened to be a forced fumble. The Rams demolished Washington's Offensive Line getting 4 sacks and 12 tackle for losses. On the other side, RG3 threw for 230 yards and a pick. HB Alfred Morris ran for 72 yards and a TD. They only got to Bradford once. Was a good game for the Rams.

NFL scouts have been taking notice of Jaylin Greene, who is an early favorite for defender of the year.

Week 3

Bears Defense Wins 24-21

Sam Bradford never gave up against the 24-21 loss to the Chicago Bears. Throwing 2 interceptions early in the first quarter (1 for TD), he bounced back throwing for 229 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Rams lead the entire game until Bear's QB Jay Cutler hooked up with HB Matt Forte in a 16 yard touchdown pass with a minute left. The Rams couldn't come back as Sam Bradford threw his 3rd interception 2 plays later. Matt Forte had a huge game running for 126 yards and 28 receiving. He even completed a 22 yard pass. Rookie WR Alshon Jeffery had a huge game as well with 5 receptions for 68 yards. Rams LE Chris Long finally got his season going with a 3 sack game.

CB Terence Newman suffered Broken Ribs and is expected to be out 5 weeks.

HB Armani Gray is a Heisman favorite in Oregon's run-heavy offense.

Week 4

Rams mauled in 43-7 Loss

Sam Bradford threw for only 140 yards and 3 interceptions in an embarrassing 43-7 loss to Seattle. With injuries in the Rams secondary, Seattle threw for 285 yards and ran for 147. Marshawn Lynch threw a 85 yard TD pass on a trick play and QB Russell Wilson threw for 228 yards and 3 touchdowns. The only positive that came for the Rams is that they finally got a 100 yard rushing game, their first all season including Pre-Season. HB Keiland Williams ran for 103 yards and a TD averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Jon Gruden is off to a 1-3 start.

Stanford FB Nicolai Sokolov is considered the best fullback in college football this year.

St Louis resigns MLB James Laurinaitis to a 4 year deal worth $20M.
