Good thing I saved the template!
Just corrected it

Good looking out Icy!

It has been a forgettable season for MinnTech
This is what can happen to your team when you sport a D rated defense
These guys are AWFUL!

Recruiting is going very well, better than anticipated thanks to MinnTech's state of the art training facilities

Next years team will feature many impact true freshman as we hope to make major strides to turn things around

The loss to Kent State was a HEARTBREAKER...

MinnTech had an opportunity to upset two MAC top 25 ranked teams and ended up 1-1

BCS National Championship Outlook

November 4, 2012 - 12:00 PM EST
By Patrick Newsey | ESPN.com

With 4 weeks remaining in the regular season, there are 3 unbeaten teams in the BCS top 25 standings. #1 Kansas State, #2 UCLA and #3 USC all control their own destiny for a shot at the national championship. The SEC is lurking with two 1 loss teams in #4 Georgia and #5 Alabama. A slip up from either of the undefeated PAC-12 teams could open the door for Georgia or Alabama.

Kansas State

Kansas State still has to get through TCU, Baylor and Texas to remain undefeated and if they can run the table they should remain the #1 ranked team. Kansas State has had an amazing year and currently has the Heisman Trophy front runner in halfback John Hubert. Some have questioned their strength of schedule but no one can argue with a perfect record. Kansas State will be @ TCU next week.

UCLA

If UCLA can get by Washington State next week they will play in one of the biggest games of the year as #3 USC will cross town to play at UCLA.

USC

USC narrowly escaped last week with a win at home against #23 Oregon 34-31. USC will host #24 Arizona State next week. If both USC and UCLA can remain unbeaten it will set up one the most important games in recent memory.

2012 Heisman Watch

November 4, 2012 - 12:30 PM EST
By Patrick Newsey | ESPN.com

As the end of the 2012 season approaches the Heisman race is heating up. Three candidates emerge as front runners.

John Hubert | Kansas State
HB | JR (R)
John Hubert has been in the mix for the Heisman Trophy all season. Hubert leads the 9-0 #1 KSU Wildcats in rushing yards and touchdowns. Hubert will need to continue to run hard against TCU, Baylor and Texas to win college football's ultimate individual award

Jordan Lynch | Northern Illinois
QB | JR (R)

Lynch has been climbing the Heisman ladder like he was fighting a fire. This dual threat quarterback has put up gaudy numbers this season leading the #23 Northern Illinois Huskies to an 8-2 record and a shot at the MAC championship game. If Lynch can continue to put up the numbers he has he will be a shoe in for the Heisman Trophy. This would be a historic moment as no player from the Mid-American Conference has ever won the prestigious award.

Eddie Lacy | Alabama
HB (JR (R)

Our third major candidate and third red-shirt junior is none other than Eddie Lacy. Lacy will need to put forth an amazing effort in the Alabama's next two games against, both at home, against #11 Texas A&M and Auburn. If there is another offensive line in the nation Lacy would rather run behind to achieve this task we would like to know.

MinnTech - A Season of ups and downs... but mostly downs

Article by: RICHARD HADER , Star Tribune | Updated: November 9, 2012 - 7:21 PM

MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- When MinnTech announced that they accepted an offer from the Mid-American conference last February a small contingency of supporters cheered while the rest of the state either rolled their eyes or asked "Who the heck is MinnTech?" Eleven weeks into the season most of the nation is still rolling their eyes or asking "Who the heck is MinnTech again?" along with their now smaller contingency of supporters.

When the season started there were long time supporters of the recently successful FCS program giving high fives to new found casual fans with a sense of optimism and hope for a new era of Marauder football. With the season winding down and MinnTech sitting in last place of the MAC West division with a 3-6 record the once optimistic fan base clamoring for the dawn of a new era has shifted their support, and pocketbooks, elsewhere.

Attendance has steadily declined since the season's shiny moment when Minntech upset the #23 Northern Illinois Huskies.

Fans were promised a high powered offense led by a dual threat phenom in Jasper Lee. What they got was an FBS team filled with FCS talent that played like they were just trying to not be humiliated. Lee has shown flashes of brilliance but the inconsistency and turnovers have plagued MinnTech all season.

Rival University of Minnesota boosters and supporters have even blamed MinnTech for the Gopher's poor recruiting class (#105) as MinnTech (#102) has snatched up three of the states top recruits. Not only has MinnTech's season been a failure but their presence in the FBS only hurts recruiting in state talent for the already struggling University of Minnesota program that also promised the state a new era under coach Jerry Kill. As these two teams fight for mediocre talent in the state of Minnesota both teams suffer.

Not only has MinnTech disappointed their fans and the state of Minnesota they have also hurt the state of college football in Minnesota.

Perhaps MinnTech should consider rejoining the FCS and the MVC were at least they were once relevant.
