Cowboy Sign Beanie Wells After Demarco Murray Injury



Demarco Murray went down with an upper arm fracture in last weeks game against the Chiefs. It's expected that the Cowboys starting HB will miss at least 5 weeks with the injury, opening a big spot at the Running Back position.

Joseph Randle didn't fair too well carrying the load by himself last game out, so the Cowboys went out and signed former OSU and Arizona Cardinals HB, Beanie Wells.

Wells will most likely start the next game, but split time with Randle to try and get something out of the run game. Beanie has only been in the league 3 years, and he's only 25 years old, he feels like he still has a lot left in the tank, and he'll use this time to showcase his talents for a job next season.

His best season came back in 2011 where he ran for 1,047 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Cowboys are hoping he can duplicate that kind of success for them.

I couldn't believe it when he went down and didn't come back. It's the reason I passed 56 times last game. Hopefully gonna cut down on that many attempts.
