Player Spotlight: Tre Mason

Auburn's junior running back Tre Mason may be the key player of their offense, and quite possibly their team. On a team with so many young players on both offense and defense, the Auburn Tigers may have to rely quite a bit on Mason.

As a freshman he didn't do very much. But last year he did carry the ball 171 times for a total of 1,002 yards and eight trips into the endzone. He was also used as a kick returner and took one return back for a touchdown. However, Auburn's new head coach Joseph Daniels has decided that Tre will not return kicks or punts this season to avoid any kind of injury. Smart move.

Meet Stephanie

Stephanie is a diehard Auburn Tigers fan. She is from the great state of Alabama and is the self-proclaimed "greatest Auburn fan ever". Don't let her good looks fool you. Just because she is a pretty girl does not mean she doesn't know a thing or two about football. She has followed the sport of college football, and more importantly the Auburn Tigers her entire life. She can talk college football with the best of them.

She goes to as many games as she can and when she isn't at Jordan-Hare Stadium she has the Tigers on her TV. She has went to many of the Auburn/Alabama games and says it's the greatest rivalry in the history of college sports.

Stephanie will be weighing in from time to time (usually about once a week) to do a little bit of commentary on her beloved Auburn Tigers are doing, or projecting how they will do in their upcoming game(s). She will also be included in picking who she believes will win the game whenever she previews one (she usually doesn't pick against Auburn!).

Her all-time favorite Auburn player is Takeo Spikes. She also is a big Cam Newton fan and still follows him in the NFL. She was at the 2010 National Championship Game, and said that it was the greatest day of her life.
