Re: Dotting the "i" in Win - An Ohio State Dynasty
Enjoy seeing someone play with a power house. Too many people take teams like Virginia to the national championship in year 2 of their dynasty, so at least if you go it's realistic lol. Like the idea of also reporting on UAB. Keep it up!

Yeah I was just really feeling playing with my favorite team. But I agree, people progress to fast. Thanks for following.

That's the best suggestion that I can come up with, Great work so far!

Thanks for the support man. As for the conference rankings, I'll be doing a top 25 every week in the weekly preview. I may actually so the top 4 teams in each conference later in the season though. Thanks for the idea.
On a side note, today has seen some notable developments. We may see something come from this. 😉
Re: Dotting the "i" in Win - An Ohio State Dynasty
BREAKING: Joey Bosa, Jalin Marshall, 2 others suspended Week 3 Posted by Justin Willis on September 1st, 2015, 4:15 PM EST
Meyer speaks on the suspensions at his press conference today in Chicago.
An already tough game against Virginia Tech just got harder. 4 Buckeyes--Joey Bosa, Jalin Marshall, Dontre Wilson, and Corey Smith--have been suspended for one game for violation of team rules. Bosa and Marshall are the two biggest losses with Bosa being a consensus Top 5 pick in the NFL draft, and Jalin Marshall being a dangerous home run threat. The losses of Wilson and Smith cannot be discounted, however.
The news broke today at about noon and Meyer spoke on the matter at his press conference at 2 PM. "I've known about this for a while," Meyer said today on the news, "the department has some policies, the 4 players couldn't fully meet the expectations". Meyer did not disclose the reason they were suspended, saying it was inside information. The rumors of the players smoking weed was disproven when Meyer stated, "Any matters in which the law would be involved, would be fully disclosed". A likely explanation is the players skipping class, or being late to team activities.
Now the bigger question is, if Meyer has known about this, and with it being released in week 2, why are the players receiving a two game pass before being suspended. "Violation of team rules is a 1 game suspension and we feel like the game against Virginia Tech is more important, and sends a message to the players that we are serious about upholding our rules. Missing a game against Hawaii or [Northern] Illinois won't mean as much as a game that they have been looking forward to since last year". Meyer's reasoning makes incredible sense, and speaks to his confidence in his teams ability to repeat. Missing 4 key players for arguably your 2nd toughest game of the year is something most coaches would not be confident about.
The loss of Bosa is arguably the biggest, but he didn't record a tackle against Hawaii. However, Hawaii did run away from him nearly every play. Bosa will be replaced by Sam Hubbard, a RS Fr. who recorded 1 tackle on Saturday. Hubbard is a speed demon who ran a 4.56 as a 6'5" DE in high school. Look for VT Left Tackle, Jonathan McLaughlin to struggle with Hubbard coming off the edge.
Jalin Marshall will be the biggest production loss so far this season. He had 4 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown, as well as a 30 yard run in the Buckeyes game against Hawaii. Look for him to be replaced by Braxton Miller. As for Wilson and Smith, Dontre will likely be replaced by Curtis Samuel, while Smith will likely be replaced by another Redshirt Freshman speed freak in Johnnie Dixon. All 4 had similar production in week 1. It will be a good opportunity to get some young players some more experience.

Re: Dotting the "i" in Win - An Ohio State Dynasty
Good point! The Hokies are definitely capable of pulling off the upset if this drama causes OSU to lose focus! Hopefully Urban Meyer can guide them through it without too much distraction
Seems like there could be a potential coaching scandal if coach Meyer knew anything before hand and didn't act on it, could be interesting....
Coming off loss, LSU plays UAB, Fournette expected to run wild.
Ohio State suspends 4, including Bosa
Notre Dame travels to the Big House for the GOTW
Ole Miss and LSU tumble following losses, both look to bounce back
-Leonard Fournette, HB, LSU-vs. UAB, Fournette is a Heisman candidate and will likely run all over the worst team in the NCAA
-Trevone Boykin, QB, TCU-vs. Lamar(FCS), Boykin is also a Heisman candidate and should have his way with an FCS opponent
-Nick Wilson, HB, Arizona-vs. UNLV, Expect Wilson who had a big week 1 to run all over the Rebels #94 rush defense
-Thomas Sirk, QB, Duke-vs. Syracuse, The Orange gave up 329 yards in the air last week and that trend should continue vs. who threw for 277 yards last week
-DaMarcus Smith, QB, North Texas-vs. Ohio, North Texas has a potent offense and Smith should torch this weak Bobcat D in the air and on the ground.
*Every week I will be releasing my own "Heisman" rankings and will crown the player of the year in my opinion since the game is known to make bad picks. I will still be releasing the in game Heisman rankings and winner but the rankings are currently messed up. For the first few weeks I will just release my rankings, and the players will be ranked by the likelihood they stay contenders, hence Elliott, Goff, and Wilson above Lunt and Williams who both had great games.

Yeah we definitely have to worry about Virginia Tech, but that's a week away. That's why Meyer held off the announcement, and since its just a team violation, the NCAA will not be involved and there will be no scandal. Not this early in the dynasty.
