Congratulations on the new addition to the family. That's very exciting, and hopefully the youngster will grow to play some college ball at Boise State.

As for the Dynasty and your hiatus, no worries. Life happens. And from the sound of it, it's been mostly positive changes, so take time to enjoy it. When the day comes that you are able to return to this Dynasty, I'll be here, waiting to see what happens next.

On a separate note, my PS3 has started making a habit of freezing about a hour or so into gaming, so I can't even complete a single game in my dynasty, with my preferred game length, without it just freezing unexpectedly. I've tried having it serviced, but they claim they cannot duplicate the problem, even after gaming for 4 hours at a time and keeping it for 2 months. Very frustrating.

Thank you! Life has definitely been good to my wife and I, we are very fortunate. I'm sorry to hear about the PS3 man. Honestly, that's part of why I'm afraid to get back to this. I theoretically could play while he naps, pause when he wakes up, and finish when hes back to napping. That, however, would require the 360 to be on for 3-5 hours at a time and I just don't think it can manage that lol. I've had bad luck with a few of them breaking down on me in the past, and I think it was due to extended gaming sessions.

Thanks Moose! I appreciate the kind words. We're definitely going a bit stir crazy, not being able to get out much.

I wish I had the time to check in on your videos and catch up, I'm surely wayyyy behind now. I'm hoping to find the time to catch up watching! I was able to fire up the 360 yesterday to game for about 20 minutes. I just played exhibition, but it felt good to get back on the sticks. I think it's been like 15 months since I last played!

I appreciate the support from all of you! I miss being active in this community, it's genuinely one of the more positive and friendly forums I've encountered

Hey congrats man! Glad to hear you're doing well, I haven't been on here in ages so that's nice to see. The NCAA itch is getting me again. I've been playing COD but I'm a sports gamer at heart. Think I'm gonna start a new dynasty and try to actually stick to reporting on it.

Man oh man, what a life it's been since I last logged in. Life certainly gets in the way of gaming, but in the best possible way.

I last checked in here in 2020! I haven't gamed in this dynasty since 2019! I decided to check in on OS and I LOVE seeing so many dynasty stories. Many of us from years ago have clearly had life get in the way, but others have kept the fun going.

Since my last update, we've added another kid to our family and everyone is well. I was recently promoted at work, and with that comes a schedule change.

With the schedule change, I now actually have a day in the week where I will usually be off work and the kids will be in daycare. That means... I have time to fire up the Xbox360 and jump back in!

I've fired it up once and everything works, I haven't tested the capture card/pc yet to ensure that stuff still does... or if I even remember how to operate it! I still have my templates to work with.

I played about 10 minutes in exhibition, but being rusty on the sticks will be a fun added challenge. So I cut practice and will dive in.


Who knows how long i'll have this schedule, but I'm assuming it will be for the rest of 2023. I'm hopeful to at least finish the current season I've got going, and hopefully go further.

I'm in the process of going through this old dynasty to see what I had going on and the story lines. It's fun to be able to keep such close tabs on everything even years later.

With the real world collapse of the PAC 12, expect to see some more shenanigans in this dynasty! Does the pack 12 survive, or does it go the way of the real world and the Big12/10 reap the rewards? We shall see (I'm genuinely undecided!).

I'm happy to be back!
