Re: There & Back Again [RTG]

Looking at getting back into NCAA myself, so this is a nice read. I used the same way where I ran through the recruiting stages on RTG mode, then picked a school, then started a dynasty with it. Glad you are going that same route as it will definitely build more depth, and storylines, much more realistically than RTG does. Dig the layout

That's great to hear, really hope to see you back with Oregon State and LeCamp! Always cool to get feedback from you

I realize I forgot to make note of it, but I decided to cancel out RTG mode entirely. Instead I opted to make the schools through TeamBuilder and just run high school through dynasty mode as well. I created Joyner in the college file and I plan on playing wherever he commits.

Bishop Gorman Secures Victory over Bingham behind Joyner's 201 Rushing Yards
Gaels withhold Bingham's late comeback attempt in South Jordan.

Sept. 4, 2015

Bishop Gorman survived a late rally Friday in South Jordan as the Gaels came out on top with a narrow 28-21 defeat over the Bingham Miners.

Entering the fourth quarter up 28-7, Gorman coach Ivan Ingram confidently sent out his second-stringers with intentions of them closing out the contest. The Miners, who kept their starters on the field, instead battled back to post two consecutive touchdowns, suddenly making it a one possession game with just over a minute remaining in regulation.

Gorman lucked out and recovered the ensuing onside kick and Ingram returned his starters to the field. On the first play back, running back T.J. Joyner took a game-clinching run 17-yards to post not only his long of the day, but to also break the 200-yard barrier as the senior finished the day with 35 carries for 201 yards and a score.

A kneel preceded and Bishop Gorman continued its quest for their second straight undefeated season.

“They almost caught us sleeping, that’s for sure,” Ingram said. “I don’t at all regret my decision to put in our second-stringers in that situation, but something like that simply can’t happen. We have to continue to play 100% until the clock hits zero.”

Quarterback Austin Beard faced heavy pressure against the Wolverines defense and took three sacks, including a fumble that was called back on the very first play from scrimmage. Beard still managed a solid performance, going 14-of-22 for 222 yards while throwing scores of 24 and 54 along with a two-yard touchdown scamper.

Bishop Gorman concludes their two game road trip next Friday in Washington where they will take on Bellevue in their season opener.
