That'd be domination lol, but it would also ruin the purpose behind this dynasty if he committed there. Im hoping he chooses one of the powerhouses, right now its looking to be TAMU which is a terrible decision.

Yeah that would be a good fit but he pretty much already marked them off lol. The college list I posted is the exact order from the dynasty. Looking like he's gonna be an Aggie.

No. 2 Bishop Gorman defeats Washington juggernaut Bellevue
T.J. Joyner scores two fourth-quarter touchdowns, three total, and the Gaels' defense does the rest.

Sept. 11, 2015

T.J. Joyner took in three touchdowns as Bishop Gorman defeated perennial national power Bellevue in Washington by the score of 31-17.

The Gaels, coached by previous defensive coordinator Ivan Ingram, improve to 3-0 on the early season and their hopes of repeating as the mythical high school national champion continues.

Austin Beard, a sophomore quarterback leveling interest from USC, opened the game with a 75-yard touchdown pass to junior Corey Montoya. It was an entirely different scenario for the quarterback who last week fumbled the ball following a sack on the first play of scrimmage against Bingham.

Beard soon faded from his quick start as he tossed his first pair of varsity interceptions during the second and third quarter respectively.

“He’s still learning, but from a positive standpoint he’s gaining more confidence out there,” Ingram said of Beard, who threw 10-of-16 for 187 yards.

The sophomore had help in the backfield from running back T.J. Joyner who took a workload 38 carries for 138 yards and three scores on the ground. Joyner’s long, however, was just nine yards as he averaged only 3.6 yards per carry.

“It’s a grind taking so many hits but they don’t call me Truck for no reason,” Joyner said.

Despite his low average, Joyner was vital in the goal-line situation as he accounted for all of the Gaels’ scores in the red zone. Two of the senior’s touchdowns came in the fourth quarter alone which helped expand Gorman’s lead to two possessions at the game’s final score, 31-17.

Bellevue’s Daryl Bergstrang, an Eastern Washington commit, ran 114 yards on 13 carries while sophomore quarterback Kevin Sullivan passed 14-of-24 for 194 yards and a score while taking fault with an interception and four sacks. The Wolverines lost starting offensive tackle Rob Monroe to a serious knee injury during the first quarter.

The Gaels will return to Fertitta Field for two straight home games against Southern California mainstays Long Beach Poly and Servite (Anaheim) before opening in-state league play and the eventual Oct. 23 home game with New Jersey’s national power Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey).

2016 running back T.J. Joyner verbally commits to Texas A&M
T.J. Joyner joins the Aggies' recruiting class as the first five-star recruit.

Sept. 17, 2015

T.J. Joyner, a Las Vegas running back rated among the nation's top 50 prep players, became the third verbal commitment of Texas A&M’s football's 2015 recruiting class by announcing the Aggies as his choice Thursday evening via Twitter.

Joyner wrote: “Officially committing to Texas A&M, the guys told me the Truck could be even bigger down there in Texas.”

Athlete Mike Davis and kickers Derek Morris and Matt Graham previously gave non-binding verbal commitments to TAMU, but neither carry the fanfare of the 6-foot-2, 235-pound Joyner.

Out of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Joyner is ranked the 33rd-best player in the country by Rivals and No. 3 among running backs. Another rating, by 247Sports, lists him as the nation's top "all-purpose back" and No. 21 overall.

“This is a kid that had all those Pac-12 and SEC offers,” said Brian Patterson, a recruiting analyst for 247Sports. “It's really a statement for A&M, who despite running an Air Raid offense, is still able to grab a running back of [Joyner’s] caliber.”

The university announced Tuesday that Joyner was amongst the 23 who would be hosted on official visit during week 11’s match against Mississippi State. Joyner previously took an unofficial visit to College Station back in mid-March as a junior.

“I really liked it out there,” Joyner told the Las Vegas Sun following the visit. “The SEC, the great tradition, the only stretch is with them being out in Texas.”

If his commitment sticks through signing day in nine months it would mark a rare TAMU recruit brought in from the West Coast. Texas A&M – who solely recruits through their Texas pipeline – has only seven players from western coast states. Joyner would be the only player on the current roster from Nevada.

“T.J. is an exact product of Texas A&M’s likings,” Patterson said. “Right now they’re looking for Tra Carson’s replacement and it doesn’t take rocket science to see that Joyner and Carson are nearly identical in terms of physicality and play style. [Kevin] Sumlin likes the power-backs and he got just that with Joyner.”

Along with TAMU, Joyner held scholarship offers from USC, Auburn, UCLA, Stanford, California, among others.

Rivals.com as well as numerous other recruiting sites claims that A&M has also pursed running back Chris McNamara, who is ranked above Joyner as the nation’s No. 2 running back. The South Carolina native announced on Twitter last week that he had cut his college list down to two with Texas A&M and Florida.

“I would expect it to be a first come, first serve basis,” Patterson said, “but Joyner’s commitment is still non-binding, A&M isn’t sure if he’ll be there in February so I can imagine the staff continuing to pursue both options.”

Joyner could see the field rather sooner than later should he sign with the Aggies next February. TAMU returns just three of its four backs with only one receiving quality playing this season.

The No. 14 Aggies have used their four consecutive home games to pick up steam early in the season with a 4-0 record. They upset a top-five Alabama squad 27-24 two weeks ago and defeated SMU 27-23 last Saturday. This week they hit the road to Fayetteville for ESPN’s Game of the Week against Arkansas.

Bishop Gorman runs away with a victory against Long Beach Poly
T.J. Joyner compiles 209 yards rushing for three scores against Long Beach Poly.

Sept. 18, 2015

Sophomore quarterback Austin Beard came up big in the clutch Friday as Bishop Gorman defeated a strong Long Beach Poly team by a 31-28 score.

Beard, who finished 19-of-30 for 227 yards, faced two critical third down situations late in the game and converted passes on both. The second throw, a 12-yarder to Corey Montoya, effectively put the Gaels’ in position to run out the clock at their home venue.

It was Gorman’s closest win since last year’s 43-42 victory over Centennial.

“We kept our composure and really delivered when it mattered most,” said Gaels’ coach Ivan Ingram.

From hindsight, the game shouldn’t have even been close. Bishop Gorman racked up 462 yards of offense, seven trips to the red zone, and held major control of the football with 27 first downs. On the other side, Long Beach Poly had just 334 yards of offense – 91 coming off a third quarter touchdown reception – and had just 13 first downs.

Running back T.J. Joyner had his season’s second +200 yard performance as he went for 209 yards and three touchdown for the second consecutive week. Joyner also continued to take high volumes of carries, finishing this contest with a season high 41. The senior verbally committed to Texas A&M this past Thursday.

Ingram showed high confidence in Joyner early in the game when he decided to run the power-back on a 4th and three situation inside the red zone. Joyner took a counter for just enough yards before capping the drive with a 10 yard touchdown.

“[Joyner is] as dependable of a short-yardage runner as you’ll get,” Poly coach Antonio Pierce said. “You put him on the goal line and he’ll take out both his own lineman and the defense’s.”

Gorman led 24-14 by halftime following Joyner’s second touchdown of the quarter to end the half. Poly came out the locker rooms and outscored the Gaels 14-7 in the second half with a 91-yard touchdown reception by Tyriq Meeks followed by a one-yard run from Kenneth Richardson late in the fourth quarterback to edge out Gorman’s scoring margin to just three points.

Richardson, who came off a four touchdown, 185-yard performance against Narbonne, was limited to just 52 yards Friday. Star quarterback Desmond Purcell appeared out of sync early on en route to his 13-of-26 passing performance that included 245 yards and two touchdowns.

Bishop Gorman has one more tough California matchup next week, against Anaheim Servite. From there out it’s hard to see anyone from Nevada legitimately challenging Gorman, all of which means that Gorman is one step closer to making its case for back-to-back national titles.

He's got a real shot at a national championship at A&M. Hopefully he isnt buried on the depth chart though.

Bishop Gorman survives a scare against California's Servite
Fullback Dax Haumiller scores game-winning touchdown to defeat Servite 35-31.

Sept. 25, 2015

Bishop Gorman survived another scare Friday night against its visitors of Servite as the Gaels finished with a hard-fought 35-31 victory over its visitors from Anaheim, Calif.

Gorman, who moved up to No. 1 in this week’s USA TODAY's Super 25, had a close call last week against Long Beach Poly, but unlike Friday, never trailed in the game.

Down 31-28 with less than 50 seconds in regulation, Texas A&M commit T.J. Joyner pieced together a productive drive on the ground to move the Gaels down the field. In the redzone, sophomore quarterback Austin Beard threw the winning 2-yard reception to fullback Dax Haumiller with 29 seconds to play.

“[Haumiller] has been a non-stop blocking for the past three years,” Gorman coach Ivan Ingram said. “It was good to see him have his big moment.”

Gorman took a 28-21 lead on a 69-yard returned interception from Blake McIntire to close out third quarter scoring. Servite (2-3) then mounted its comeback with 10 unanswered points in the fourth.

The Gaels posted a season low of just 325 yards of offense. Joyner, a senior, ushered the ground game with 24 carries for 135 yards and a score. Beard was vowed player of the game with 178 yards passing while throwing scores of 33, 18, and 3.

Servite, who had previously dropped games to De La Salle and Bishop Amat, lost star quarterback Andrew Blanchard for two quarters due to a back strain but still proved to be stiff competition. Backup Jeff Dudley came in and passed 6-of-8 for 61 yards before Blanchard’s second half return saw the senior throw two touchdowns as well as an interception.

Both teams were highly productive in the red zone, Gorman finishing 3-3-0 (100%) while the Friars were 5-4-0 (80%).

It was the Gaels 5th straight win of the season, keeping head coach Ivan Ingram’s resume spotless in his first year on the job. Gorman, for now, closes out with non-league play before a meeting with Don Bosco Prep (New Jersey) on Oct. 28.

“This was a gut-check for us,” Ingram said. “The nice thing is that we'll come back and get after it [in practice] to get better.”

Would definitely be nice to win a ship, I've never done that in this game. Idk how he'll be on the depth chart because the school is also pursing a higher ranked HB plus they've got a decent freshman on the team already.

Like you, I really wish Auburn would recruit him heavier. Could probably be a Heisman candidate there.
