Good luck vs Purdue! When you play Penn State, I'll have to go against you, but other than that, good luck!

A win's a win, albeit over an FCS team.

Re: It's The Terrapins Time | NCAA 14 Dynasty

Badgers Take Care of Terps at Home

Madison, WI- Today was a rough day for coach DJ Durkin, Perry Hills, and the Maryland Terrapins. The first half was not too bad for the Terps, but they were shutout in the second half. The game started off with a methodical drive by the Terps, ending just short of the end-zone with a 20 Yd FG by Adam Greene. Wisconsin responded towards the end of the first quarter with a FG of their own by K Rafael Gaglianone.

The second quarter started just like the first did. The Terps took the ball down the field, but could not get it into the end-zone. This time they had to settle for a 34 Yd FG. Again, the Badgers could not get the ball into the end-zone, and they too hd to settle for only a FG, making the score 6-6. The Badgers were finally able to break the streak of field goals with a pick-six by S Leo Musso. The Terps responded with a TD of their own on an 81 Yd TD run by Trey Edmunds III. Wisconsin was able to end the half on a high note on a Taiwan Deal TD run, making the score 20-13 at half.

The second half was all Wisconsin from the first snap of the ball. Wisconsin drove it down the field, but failed to muster a TD, and settled for another FG by Gaglianone. After another defensive stand on a big 4th and 1, Corey Clement took a 64 Yd TD run house, making the score 30-13 going into the final quarter.

The second half rout by the Badgers continued in the fourth quarter. Gaglianone started off the final quarter with another quarter, this one from 31 Yds. After another turnover by Perry Hills, this one a fumble, Bart Houston connected with Jazz Peavy for a 30 Yd TD. With just one minute left in the game, Gaglianone was able to hit his final FG opportunity from 22 Yds.

After this dominating performance, the Wisconsin Badgers will be able to stay home and take on FCS opponent Tennessee Tech. For the Terrapins, they will travel to Baltimore and player West Virginia at M&T Bank Stadium. The Mountaineers will be without star QB Skyler Howard. RS FR Chris Chugunov will be starting in his place.

Post-Game Interviews

Rep: What went wrong that made your guys play so poorly in the second half?

Coach Durkin: I think our guys just did not come out of the gates prepared in the second half. We need to be more effective at the QB position. Perry did not play well, but we are confident he will be able to bounce back next week in a good matchup with West Virginia.

Rep: What was going wrong for the offense tonight?

P. Hills: Me. I think the line played great. The line play showed in the play of the RBs. Trey and Ty showed that the line was playing well. I just was not able to take care of the ball, and I really was off throwing the ball. I have to get better or this team will not win games. You need a good QB to win, and I have not been that early.

Rep: What went wrong defensively?

Coach Buh: Everything. I did not see any good performances from out guys. I have to give credit to that football team, but our guys have to step it up. The talent is their with our guys, but it just has not showed on the field yet. Also, the other coaches and I did not put our guys in good position to make plays. We really will be working this week because next week is a crucial game.

Re: It's The Terrapins Time | NCAA 14 Dynasty

Maryland Dominates West Virginia in Baltimore

Baltimore, MD- Tonight at M&T Bank Stadium we all knew who the winner would be early in this football game. The Maryland Terrapins came out with fire on both sides of the ball at they handed it to the West Virginia Mountaineers. The game started off pretty quickly for the Terps. Just a couple minutes into the first quarter Perry Hills was able to connect with WR DJ Moore for a 58 Yd TD. After a couple three and outs, the Mountaineers were able to respond with a 22 Yd TD throw from Chris Chugunov to RB Rushel Shell III. For the Mountaineers, this was their only TD of the night. Maryland drove the ball down with some huge 3rd down throws from Hills to set up a 7 Yd TD run by Trey Edmunds III.

The Mountaineers started out the second quarter hot with a 46 Yd catch by Shelton Gibson that placed them inside of the ten yard line. They got the ball down to the one, but were not able to capitalize, and settled for a FG from K Josh Lambert. Maryland quickly responded with a great drive of their own, however, they were able to get into the end-zone with a TD grab from WR Taivon Jacobs. The shift in momentum truly began when Josh Woods picked off Chugunov in the end-zone to stall a good Mountaineer drive. After a lousy drive, the Terps punted it back, but one the second play, Roman Braglio sacked Chugunov and Jesse Aniebonam got himself a scoop-and-score.

Coming out of half with a 28-10 lead did not stop the Terps from coming at the Mountaineers with the same fire they had all game. After a missed FG from Lambert, Perry Hills drove the Terps down the field for another TD pass to his favorite target, DJ Moore. Chugunov began another promising drive for the Mountaineers, but it was shut down when JC Jackson picked him off.

This JC Jackson INT helped lead the Terps on another TD drive. This drive was capped off by a 23 Yd TD catch out of the backfield by Trey Edmunds III. The extra point was missed, making the score 41-10. The Terps were not done yet, though. Chris Chugunov threw his 4th INT of the game, which set up another TD drive by Hills and the Terps offense. The Terps grinded out clock and ended off the drive with a 1 Yd TD run by Edmunds III.

With this 48-10 victory, the Terps will move to 2-1 on the year. They will stay home and take on the Purdue Boilmakers. Both will be looking for their first B1G win. For the Mountaineers, they will move their record to 2-2. Next week, they will take on the Oklahoma St Cowboys at home

Post-Game Interviews

Rep: What changed from this week to last week?

Coach Dulkin: I think everything changed for our guys. Perry played well first of all, but the defense came out with tons of effort. I think the preparation that we put into the game really helped out. Our guys were really upset over what happened last week, but they came out all week and tonight with a different level of toughness and effort.

Rep: Why do you think you played so much better this week?

P. Mills: I just was ready for this game. All of the guys battled all week and I can't give myself the credit. I did play well, but the O-Line, runnings backs, and receivers all contributed in this big offensive day. Also, the defense was dominant and the offense was able to feed off of the energy they had.

Rep: How did it feel to get that first career interception after being suspended week one?

JC Jackson: It felt great. I know I have had many problems in the past, but I am over them. I am just very thankful the coaching staff here at Maryland accepted me. I have to continue to show them what I am about and I am ready to do that. I have way more talent than I have showed, and I wanna take this league by storm.

Re: It's The Terrapins Time | NCAA 14 Dynasty

annnnnnddddd Boom goes the dynamite. Huge win over WVU. It's amazing how well an offense can function when they take care of the ball. Good win, looks like that FCS opponent truly was a "tune up" game.

If you can, I like seeing in game pics. You don't need a lot, but its nice to see a few from time to time. The real life pics are cool too though. Otherwise, I think you're good. Throw in whatever you like, but it's all about balance. Don't feel a need to overwhelm yourself by throwing in a ton of info for each week. It can start to interfere with your pace of play. If you're a guy who plays a game every couple days, you could spend hours trying to catch up with articles, updates from the league, etc etc etc. It can be draining.

I don't know if you instill your own rules for recruiting and injuries etc etc, but that can add immersion for you. IE one of my rules is any player who suffers a concussion cannot play the next game, due to concussion protocol.
