So I've been looking around the site for a few weeks, and saw some interesting dynasty threads but none more so than one titled
Picking Up the Pieces which saw the player taking over a Georgia that had been heavily sanctioned by the NCAA. It gave me the idea to do this thread, which will follow a Texas Longhorns team that will also be heavily sanction and will fall to Earth. Outside interaction is encouraged, in the form of a fan blog, a sportscenter-esque report, live talk show, whatever. The dynasty will be a living breathing world. So with out further delay, here's my attempt at a Dynasty.

6 months ago, January of 2013, the NCAA announced an investigation into allegations of serious violations against the University of Texas, primarily concerning it's football team from 1995 to 2009. Head Coach Mack Brown has denied any involvement sort of wrongdoings as coach of the Texas Longhorns football team. Now, with the whole of the Longhorn Nation watching, the NCAA prepares a press conference to address it's findings in "The Texas Report."
(Indianapolis, Indiana) ESPN - After half a year of investigating has culminated in this, probably one of the most important NCAA press conferences of the last decade. Today we will find out what and if any violations were committed by the University of Texas, and if so, how it will be punished. As you see, NCAA president Mark Emmert taking his seat we take you to the live audio of the press conference.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for attending the conference today, as well as the University of Texas for it's continued compliance with the rigid and thorough investigation by the NCAA and applaud them for it. However, with that said, it was found that the University of Texas did commit as many as five major violations that include players receiving improper benefits, rewarding defensive players for 'hard' hits, falsified academic records of players to allow play, illegal contact with recruits, and allowing and even coordinating illegal contact with a professional sports agent. These violations are serious and go against the NCAA's bylaws and will be punished with the following sanctions. A 2 year conference championship ban, and a 3 year bowl game ban. All former players who were found to recieve benefits are to be disassociated from the school, and current players are ruled ineligible from further play in NCAA football. All wins from 1995 to 2009, a total of 150, are to be vacated, along with the 6 division championships, 4 conference championships, and the single national championship which was won in 2005. The school shall only receive 10 full scholarships from 2013 until 2018, at which point they will recieve 15 from 2018 until 2023, meaning a total reduction of 125 scholarships over the next decade. Head Coach Mack Brown, who is deemed unfit to control any football team in the near future hereby banned from coaching in the NCAA until further notice. Immediately following these sanctions will be a 3 year probation period from 2024 to 2026. Lastly, a financial report of the school's total earnings, budget, and expenses shall be sent to the NCAA for regulatory purposes. These sanctions were unanimously agreed to be fair and just given the violations and the amount they were violated...
