So the annual Work Ethic ratings have been completed. Every year, after training based on the Work Ethic Rating of each player, which is determined the year they come in (And cannot change) Can either drastically improve and hurt a player's overall rating.

The "Result" Rating shows how much a player's overall rating will increase or decrease prior to the season. So I have to manually go in and adjust the rating to reflect the Work Ethic change from Fall Camp. Incoming Freshman are excluded from the Off Season work ethic rating changes until the next season.

Some of the biggest risers this fall camp...

RB Yarmain Williams had a huge jump ...+12. And he will recieve the Offseason Warrior Award for the biggest team improvement.(His Rating in-game jumped from 75 to 87)

RB Marquise Stamm had +8 bump..

WR Carlos Ekwensi and WR Dylan Busch, both jumped plus 7 in overall rating.

On Defense, DL Seth Owens had a +7 Bump also.

Some of the biggest fallers,

WR Travyione Ball fell -3, which hurts because he was pegged to have a big time role this year.

OL Tony McNeal fell -3,

OL Pierre Orlando, OL Carnell Stephens and Nathanial Duke all also dropped -2.

One heck of a game... just a few thoughts.

After having to replace so many players in the defensive backfield, I thought we would take a huge step back in this game. I was wrong. The defensive backs played extremely well on the back end, and it was probably attributed to the fierce pass rush my defense produced. 11 Sacks on the night was huge for us. Led by DE/DT Rohan Malice and DT Jamarcus June. June was the #1 overall player in the last class and didnt dissapoint in his first action. 2 sacks in his debut. DL Rolland Beaudoin was a monster on the interior. I thought after losing Myles Nall, who was one of the most disruptive lineman I've ever played with, we would take steps back there as well. Beaudoin played lights out in both run support and pass rushing.

Carmelo Clancy, the RB converted now DB, played one heck of a game in his debut as a DB. He started in the Hawk position for me, and had one great game. Very excited about the future of this defense this season.

Offense needs a lot of work. We got lucky on some plays. QB was shaky, but then again, it was his first start. Back-up Philip Harper came in and ran the ball well. But our passing game was very inconsistent.

Offensive line wasnt up to par either. I guess losing 3 guys to the NFL doesnt help either. I moved Nathaniel Duke from back-up tackle, to starting RG, because he was the best option. He didnt do bad at guard. But the line as a whole needs a bit of fine tuning before we become a legit oiled machine. Duke lost about 10 pounds from last season dropping from 355 to about 343.


Right Tackle D'Andray Riley-Wilson played outstanding at Tackle. However Senior LG Pierre Orlando and LT Franklin Babies struggled at times during the game. We have to get better up front by the time conference play starts or we may be in trouble.

Playing Tulsa will be a much needed tune-up game to see where we can work out the kinks and how we can improve.

Also, seeing coach Cameel Verner, Jr reach win 150 is a big achievement. I didnt know that existed on this game.
