Re: A New Era: The Dallas Cowboys (M18)

Report: Mason Rudolph getting 1st team reps at practice

During the portion of practice open to the media, rookie QB Mason Rudolph was observed taking snaps with the first team. While Dak Prescott has had a so-so season, most fans and media would rightfully blame the defense for the season going into the tank.

When head coach Jason Garrett was asked about splitting first team reps between Rudolph and Prescott, he predictably went on about competition, wanting to try different looks and so forth. While there may be some truth in that, it’s clear the front office wants to see what they have in their shiny new toy.

A New Era: The Dallas Cowboys (M18)

(started a new franchise beginning with 2018 offseason)

The Cowboys now approach the 2018 season after what’s been an interesting offseason. Players that were once cornerstones of the franchise (Dez Bryant, Jason Witten) have moved on. What’s left? A very youthful team hoping to compete with a few key free agent acquisitions and draft picks. To set the table, see the draft class and final roster:
