Around the League and Top 25- Week 7

Kalamazoo Local News Network (KLNN) conducts the pre-game interview with Coach Fleck:

KLNN: “Congratulations on the great victory today! You were right, something was in the air for your team.”

Fleck: “Thanks Rachel, yeah like I said we were extremely focused today, no one was going to stand in our way it seemed. Buffalo has many weapons, but we were like a freight train today, nothing was slowing us down.”

KLNN: “Comments on your defense?”

Fleck: “Yes, it was the best performance this season. I think switching to the 3-4 scheme has helped us move forward as a team. Plus, in the league, most teams are pass-heavy so having that extra linebacker is greatly beneficial.”

KLNN: “So are you off to celebrate as a team today?”

Fleck: “Oh, absolutely not! We only have two wins and our defense is still the worst in the nation. We are having an impromptu film study so we can keep up the defensive momentum.”

Van Tubbergen. What a name. Killer offensive performance. You’ve probably said this at some point, what playbook do you run?

Right lol! No lie I am using default Western Michigan. It is a Pro-style with a good amount of Shotgun. After this season I will make changes to fit the style I am trying to achieve which is a more run-heavy/play action style.
