Emmitt Smith Informs Cowboys He's Retired

BREAKING NEWS: Cowboys Acquire QB Bulger from Rams

-General Manager Mel Bertrand announced that the Cowboys have acquired quarterback Marc Bulger [84 OVR] from the St. Louis Rams in a blockbuster trade. The Cowboys will send Guard Larry Allen [97 OVR] to the Rams for Bulger and the Rams 1st round pick in the 2003 draft (26).

Larry Allen, 31, is one of the last players from the Cowboys dynasty era. But he is getting up there in years, and the Cowboys were looking to get something out of him while he still had value.

Marc Bulger backed up Kurt Warner in St. Louis last year and played significant time because of an injury to Warner. Bulger even won a playoff game last season, defeating the Seahawks in Seattle. Bulger is known to have the injury bug, so Moore better beef up that line if he is to survive.

Re: Rebuilding America's Team: A Cowboys Franchise

I am looking forward to what Bulger and Bettis do for the Cowboys Offense. Injuries looked like they took a toll on his body. Hopefully the Boys can keep him clean.
