I'd love for that to be in '14. Would anyone else like to see this feature make a return?

Yes....as it was part of the GM goals and duties that I REALLY hope make it back into the game in some way. Especially if it means being fired and able to be picked up by another club(that's sort of a hybrid GM/manager role I guess).
I forget which version had it('09...'10?)...but I loved that.(even though the actual goals for player personnel where a little weird)

I"d definitely like to see an owner mode in The Show. I'd love the ability to set prices, make stadium upgrades, etc.

I feel this dev team got all the could out of the ps3, cant wait to see what they can do with the ps4. I mean NBA 2ks graphics were pretty subpar on current gen and they look astonishing on next gen

All things considered the game peaked graphically with MLB The Show 12. Too many quick animations around the first base bag in 13. Watch the first basemen on pickoffs. Doesn't look or move as good as 12 or for that matter 11. Ball physics are better on 13 though and so is the hit variety. I think overall 13 is the better game but I would rather play 11 and 12.

Hopefully they make a good leap forward in a few years with the new console.

Love the shopw, but some aspects really need reworking now. RTTS needs to be designed from scratch, just feels so disconnected from the league, and the goals logic is broken at times.

Lets home they fix the AI pitchers being too accurate, and every batter having barry bonds discipline.

            Relocation, create a stadium.

            Needs totally new presentation.

Improved defense, weakest part of the show IMO.

More immersion into the season. At times it feels like your in a bubble, like your not a part of a MLB league. Maybe more news articles, maybe locker room issues, etc...

But the part about bringing franchise into your house......I agree.
I don't want it to feel like I'm playing games....making moves outside of what's going on in the rest of the league....which it does at times.

No, there is more...didn;t think what I asked for was much really, EA's baseball game had some of it in 2005............... Not necessary for it to be in year one but next gen I think a lot of this id doable

Ability to save franchise to future versions beginning with ps4 mlb 14 is a major upgrade. That has been a sore point for franchise users like myself who were forced to dump the existing franchise each year.

I wonder what the chances are of an owner mode with ability to relocate or start a new team with created uniforms. NCAA football had a similar option with teambuilder.

So Russell said that the feature lists for the PS4 and PS3 were exactly the same, which makes me think we won't be seeing too many differences in terms of franchise and stuff. Unless I misunderstood, this probably means things like rain outs, dynamic weather, and truly enhanced AI won't be in the game.

I think it's just too early to tell, since the blog also mentioned new and improved RTTS features:

We think Road To The Show is the deepest, most realistic single-player experience in sports video games, and we’re making it even better. A few of the new features include a new advancement system, new intuitive player creation process, and all new pre-draft prospect showcase.
Whether or not we get some of the significant improvements some of us have been waiting for, I dunno, but I think the only point meant to be taken from Ramone's comment was that PS3 won't simply be a roster update.

Thanks SF. If any developer has earned my trust over the years, it's this one. Hopefully we get some of the stuff we've all been waiting for.

That still sounds incredibly concerning, while you want to hype up the PS3 version of the game, that massively diminishes any expectations for the PS4. Considering this is a version all of us will have to pay $500 for opposed to $60, that's the last thing we should be expecting or wanting to hear. Any link to this, maybe, I'll like to read it and hope it's out of context or something?

Yeah, I think it would be a huge bummer if the PS4 only differentiated from the PS3 in terms of graphics. But like I said, I'll wait and see. No reason for us to rush to conclusions when the games' release is so far away.
