I really hope next gen is able to make a change of baseball gaming. I loved baseball as a kid and a teen but as I grew to an adult baseball has really fizzled out. So when I see these baseball games they all look the same. Hope they can make these games like seen the sport in person.

?? Have you played the show?? No game has ever come as close to accurately replicating the sport, it's amazing and even on ps3 looks great. Not sure what your post is even trying to say. They all look he same? How? how can baseball look different then baseball? 2k looked a lot diff then th show.....

For me, the show only made my love for baseball even stronger. I started listening to the Yanks when I was 6 in 96, and my first video game was triple play for playstation. Being visually impaired, and only having a little vision out of my left eye, I made video games a personal challenge. My goal was, and still is simple: to be just as good as a fully sighted person. I've met that goal in many games, not just baseball. To be honest, I truly don't know how I play some games, let alone complete them. If you take a look at a game like Jedi Academy for the xbox, you would most likely not believe I could play that game. It's amazing what you can do if you put your mind to it.

Does anyone know if you buy The Show on PS3 there will be a code to digitally upgrade to the PS4 version for $9.99 like they did for some games at launch? I haven't heard anything and would hate to pay full price for both games.

There likely won't be at all. The reason they did it at launch was because the PS4 had not launched yet. It was really just a deal to get people more into buying a PS4 at launch than anything.

Now they just expect you to have the patience to wait it out. I hate it, but I will do just that.

I won't be able to play but there will be people casting MLB14 for the PS3 on Twitch TV April 1st so I can drool there until May.

This may or may not be the place for this--but I am curious as to how the "franchise" feature compares to myGM in NBA2K?

This will be my first time on The Show, as I've been stuck with MLB2K for the past...too long.

myGM is so good on NBA, and I am interested to know how (past) versions compare?

I'm more knowledgeable about baseball in general, but I think both are pretty close as far as how in depth they are with rules (like contract stuff). I thought the MyGM took a little step back this year for things such as not being able to scout exactly who you want and the VC cuts it down a little. The Show is the most in-depth sports game I've ever played. I'd definitely look at the rules regarding arbitration and all that if you are unfamiliar with that.

I'm wondering if gloves will clasp around the ball instead of the ball sort of floating in the glove. I hope that's something we see in the future.
