Yea I was thinking that, but I didn't see lights on (i could have missed it) and there was some sun in the outfield (noticed an some plays in the outfield). Anyway not a big deal, I was just curious

why do a lot of the stadiums have 5 or more American Flags??? Overkill

In real life, there tends to be various flags... a state flag, an organization flag, the US flag... there are several. But The Show makes them all American flags.

Is that the case in the Toronto stadium, even? I really can't remember.

That and I've noticed they are always blowing as if it's always windy. Never just laying there.



Nitpicking and a non issue but I noticed it as well.

Someone mentioned in the impressions thread that flags hang loosely when there is no wind like normal. Just every video we've seen the wind is blowing obviously.

After reading this thread my expectations are pretty low. But considering it's been three years since I played the last Show I'm thinking I'm going to still end up being very happy come next week...

Trust me ODogg you won't be upset!! The new camera alone adds so much to this game. The Outfields now seem big. I'ts the best sports game on ps4 period!!

With people saying that it's to dark in some places and that some things not lighting up do you guys think they will be able to fix it in a patch or are we stuck with it?

yea aware of that, but has to be a better way to implement at least make an NL/AL flag or team flags not overkill on American flags

Ramone mentioned that they are investigating the lighting issues. Gives you some hope.

Paying for online should definitely be taken seriously next year for all Sony games. They have had pretty bad problems with servers but launches are like this a lot of the time sadly.

Am I crazy or did they speed up or have Cano's bat flick trigger later as the pitch is made on PS4.

Or am I crazy and they are identical, to me the PS4 Cano bat flick starts later, as the pitcher releases the ball. While on PS4 it starts before he releases the ball. Maybe just due to different pitchers?

Absolutely a great time to be a sports gamer! The Show releases at Midnight on the PS4, which sounds to be another great installment. Especially for those, like me, who are converted 360 owners.

Also, looks like Madden may be in store for some big changes. Even more exciting, EA announced sweeping changes for NHL 15 next-gen, including new announcers and NBC style broadcasts! For those baseball fans who love hockey too, I'd go check that out. I think others may follow suit and freshen up presentation (hopefully!). Although it doesn't change gameplay, it makes the game feel fresh and new.

Has anyone noticed that in day games everyone has dual shadows like they are being lit by the park lights?







Edit - watched another game and this is not there, maybe the lights are on??

Games that start in the evening do in fact begin with lights on.

I'm in the Madden threads a lot and I haven't heard anything substantial about a BIG overhaul. Just the same kind of yearly hype.

I will be calling Gamestop tomorrow morning to reserve a copy of The Show. Madden, I'm kind of "meh" right now, but really excited about "The Show".
