Traded him early last season for Wilin Rosario and a couple prospects. There really wasn't a way for me to keep him and Price.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Instead of trading for Heyward I traded Yunel Escobar for JBJ and Alex Hernandez. Moore won the Cy Young and MVP last season, and I just signed Price to a 5 year, 26mil per deal. I really don't need Heyward, as I have Myers, Jennings, and Joyce/ Marlon Byrd manning left field. I feel I got a steal with Joyce. I signed him to a 4 year 1mil per deal after he hit 24 HRs and 80 RBIs.Comment

Todd Frazier, Khris Davis, Kole Calhoun, hmm... how are their OFs doing and who's in them? Can't think of anyone else right now but those three are better than Shuck.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I hope my response didn't sound angry or dismissive in any way, I was in a hurry. Jaime is only 27, whereas Lyons is 26, so I think the Cardinals would try to send Lyons first. If that didn't work, they'd probably give Cooney before Gonzeles in terms of prospects. I think they'd keep Jaime because he has post season experience and isn't that old. Based on how young the rotation is, I don't know if Cooney will ever find his way into it, so he could just end up being trade bait, and Lyons isn't more than pitching depth/ maybe a #5 on a team with less pitching.Comment
