I'm the midst of a Phillies teardown, any help you guys can offer would be much appreciated. As hard as it is to admit the current roster stinks (thanks Rube!), rebuilding should be fun. I'm going for ultra realism here so no dumping Howard (as much as I'd like too), no trading Rollins(no-trade clause) and Utley is staying put.

A few trades I've already completed..

Burnett to the Angels for Chevy Clarke & Hank Conger.

Cesar Hernandez to St Louis for Borjous. They're loaded in Cf and needed middle infield depth.

Defratus to the Cubs for Brett Jackson.

Adams to the Dodgers for J. Martinez (62 ovr C pot).

In addition to the above I'd like to move Lee to Toronto for a package centered around Marcus Stroman. What would be a fair return?

It's late July. I'm 15 back of the Nationals. Jays are 52-45,4.5 back of the Red Sox.

Although technically Burnett has the same clause as Utley and a contract with a player heavy mutual option for next season.

Thanks. I was unaware of that. Angels are in contention and the only team that wanted him. I tried moving him to Baltimore/Pittsburgh but couldn't take on his contract.

Yeah he only has a limited no trade clause, but the main reason he signed with the Phillies after he said he was done was the ability to stay near his family. So it's highly likely that must of the teams on his block list would be the westerly teams.

As for his mutual team/player option it's really jacked up. If both him and the team want him back and he hits incentives it could be roughly a 16 or so million $ option. However if the team doesn't want him back but Burnett does want to come back he still has a 7.5 million $ option that they would have to pick up. So it could be difficult to move him IRL.

Just to thoroughly inform you since you say you didn't know.

I'll admit I've never seen DeShields play, but yeah I think I've seen a game or two. Unless DeShields was absolutely crushing it, they would have a hard time bringing him up.

Thanks for the specifics. You're right, dealing him to a west coast team probably isn't happening.

Depends on the haul. They dealt a young Latos instead of building around him because the haul was good (at least it looked like it)

Ok it's the first week of July and getting close to time for me to make my Headley trade. He is at .260, 12 HR, 44 RBI, 6 SB with a .338 OBP. I'm looking to move him in a deal for realism first, but that also takes into account his production this year and the standings. Here are the relevant standings:

To add to that, I'm looking for atleast one mid-high B prospect and then the other pieces can be either a prospect or two or a mlb level guy (a borderline everyday or utility player) who can fill in either at 2nd, SS, 3rd or OF.

They just signed him to an extension so I doubt it. He the second most important part to them behind Cashner. They only way they deal Gyorko is if you overpay by a lot.

I know this isn't his value but to get him this year would be something like Mid A + Low A + High B

Latos was more so dealt because of his attitude rather than his ability. They did get a lot in return though.

Im the mets in mid june and the yankees offered me Gary sanchez for Ruben tejada... i rlly dont like tejada so i use him as my backup after he cooled down to a .233 and sanchez is in AA batting .285 .. Im looking for realism and fairness . I dont think this trade would ever happen but i would like the trade only because Travis Darnaud hasnt been as good as met fans have hoped for lol.. ANY PLAYERS I SHOULD ADD???
