    Toronto Blue Jays Franchise

Looking for prospects any would be fine but specifically 1B,2B,SP,RP and a
    Major league second baseman

Looking to trade Ra Dickey and Adam Lind
Dickey 38 years old and probably doesn't have much left so sell hi why he has value
    Lind final year on contract

This could change if the Jays remain contenders
So far 11-7 tied for 2nd in AL East
    Dickey: 1-2 4.83 ERA
    Lind: .184 AVG 2 HR

It's early yet so I'm not worried about either one.

I don't have anyone particular interested in yet thought on other teams.

I would move Dickey mid/late June or July, preferably to an NL team in a playoff spot hunt; Brew Crew, Phillies, Pirates, Giants are just a few.

As for Lind, any team that needs 1B/DH help in June/July. I know for my Yanks franchise I'm targeting him as Tex seems to get injured too consistently.

Thanks for the help everybody! I decided on Lee to the Jays for Stroman, Nay, and Smith then Papelbon to the Angels for Yarbrough and Alvarez.

So in my dodgers franchise im starting to think I don't have the correct roster or something. For example I don't see lee or seager in my minors. Shouldn't they be some of the dodgers top prospects? I did a roster update when I first started playing the game a few days ago. Any suggestion?

So instead of all of the arguing about a Texas/LA deal... let's talk about my Boston/LA deal... what do the Sox send to get Ethier (or Kemp.. but Ethier's struggling and playing less in my franchise for LA). Becket has been pretty bad for them so they could use a 4/5 Starter.. the game is showing RP/CP/C as Dodgers needs..

Just skimming though looking at some other OF's around the league.. and the teams "seeking" positions...
            Cle - Brantley is only hitting .155 in 71ABs - RP/C/1B/LF/RF
            Det- Davis .159 in 63, Kelly.167 in 30ab as a LF platoon for the Tigers - RP/C/3B/LF/RF
            Tex - Choo .149 in 67AB, Martin .181 in 72AB - RP
            NYM - Abreu .200 in 30AB - RP/CP/C/LF
            Philly - Mayberry .143 in 21AB, Gwynn Jr. .250 in 32AB - RP/CP/LF/CF/RF
            Cubs - Schierholtz .187 in 64AB - RP/CP/C
            Col - Stubbs .269 in 26AB - RP/CP/C
            LAD - Ethier .067 in 15AB - RP/CP/C

Just looking at guys who are strugging on other teams to maybe see if a change of scenery helps out mutually. lol

I don't think MLB puts names to the minor league players. If you're not too far into your 'chise, I would recommend downloading one of the OSFM rosters from the roster vault (at the main menu press R1 or RB, go to the bottom right tile, roster vault, download).

Yeah I just realized that. Also if you google the roster name it should bring you to a thread that explains what they focused on to build their roster.

Probably going to start mine tomorrow. Want to use the braves but would really like to grab a couple prospects, giving up a starter or two.

What kind of package could jason Heyward land me? I know the Braves really love him and he's got five tools, but I think a return would be very very good for him.

Mike Minor would be one I would consider moving for a good prospect. Love reading the threat this is my first time asking for trade advice on here.

That's what I'm thinking about for Dickey.
I would trade Lind to anyone but an AL East team. If I was blown away with what I would get in return then yes I would trade him within the division , but you generally never see an impact player get traded to another team in you own division. Probably because you play them so much that you don't want him to come back and help the other team beat you.

I think pretty much every team in the league would be in on Heyward. Boston, Toronto and Texas strike me as good landing spots as they have enough prospects to give up.

Any specific positions you'd be looking to fill with prospects through the trades?

The Blue Jays have a lot of depth in the outfield, so probably not the ideal spot for Heyward.

I'm currently running my Brewers Franchise, and I just can't pitch with Lohse. Looking to keep things as real as possible, do you think the brewers would be willing to deal him?

If he is available for trade, who would you target for a middle of the rotation kind of guy?

Also I'm not thrilled, but not opposed to dealing Braun or Ramirez if I could get a possible A or B projected solid SP. Braun is currently 2nd in the league in HRs and RBI's so I'd like to keep him if at all possible.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Trying to get younger and shed some contracts with the Phillies. I've been following the spreadsheet values and trying to keep things as realistic as possible. One big problem that I am finding is, much like with the real-life club, this process isn't going to be easy. Outside of Cliff Lee (and Utley who I am not making available) the Phillies really don't have much of value to swap for prospects.

Here are the deals that I have made so far:

Lee to Toronto for Stroman, Mitch Nay & low B prospect
                              Kendrick to LAA for Conger
Defratus to the Cubs for Brett Jackson
Cesar Hernandez to Stl for P. Borjous (They are loaded with outfield talent and he was riding the pine with a .225 avg.)
Bastardo to Cleveland for Moncrief and a B rated catching prospect

Outside of Stroman and maybe Borjous I'm having trouble securing players that will have much of an impact in turning this club around. One player that I am seriously considering making a run at is Bubba Starling. The spreadsheet lists his trade value as a high C. Is he a realistic target? I realize that he hasn't lived up to potential irl but I need to take a gamble or two on some guys if this team hopes to be relevant again in a few years. Thoughts? Who gets this deal done? Thanks.

So on the chart on the first page, the Value 1, 2, ect.. is what to expect as a return? If I ship Jonny Gomes out of Boston I should be able to take on a mid level C potential player in return?
