Can someone help me find a trade for matt holliday? the only stat i remember right now is he's batting right around .235. the only thing i'd like to get back is some infield help. sorry if thats too vague, but i'm not near my game right now. i just know i'm not terribly far into the season and i apparently suck with matt holliday. thanks for any and all help.

Okay, in my Phillies franchise Ben Revere is out for the rest of the year (ACL Tear). I need someone not named Tony Gwynn Jr. or John Mayberry Jr. to replace him.
It's been about two or three weeks since Revere went down. I've been playing a lot of different outfields lately. Darin Ruf, Josh Vitters and Mayberry have all seen time in left, while Dom Brown has been manning CF (with the occasional relief from Gwynn). I picked up Vitters from the Cubs earlier in the season, just so nobody is confused.
I just cant play with Gwynn, and since's he's struggling, my team has no speed threat. I need a cheap center fielder who is fast and can get on base. I'm rebuilding, so it doesn't make sense to spend too much.
I was thinking Tony Campana, as the spreadsheet has him valued at a mid C. Arizona is .500 right now, in third place in the NL West. Campana is a better overall hitter than Gwynn and could play CF for me.
Campana for Gwynn Jr. + Hector Neris is what I was thinking. Gwynn Jr. gives them someone to replace Campana immediately (and they're both 70 OVR). Neris is a RP, who is 24 and C potential.
Does that seem fair? If not, what should I give them back?Comment

I would say a B level pitching prospect should get it doneComment

Realistically, they'd probably move Paxton into the rotation instead of trading for a pitcher.
But, fairness wise, that's spreadsheet value for those two guys. You get three starting pitching prospects + a catching prospect. Both Cubs needs.
Boston's in first place so they're not going to trade their starting right fielder. Besides that, his value is probably closer to two B's, and I'm rebuilding. I'm not going to give that value for him.Last edited by k_mac; 05-25-2014, 10:04 PM.Comment

I'm not giving up much to get him, so if he doesn't play well, it's not a big deal. Gwynn doesn't hold any value to me. I love Campana's speed, so it's worth a shot to me.Comment

Starting up a Rockies franchise and there are 2 pitchers I absolutely hate.... Chacin and De la Rosa...... I really want Roberto "don't call me fausto" Hernandez from the phillies. Could I do a Chacin swap for him?Twitch Username: CEspo723Comment

With the impending release of the Hybrid rosters, I'm going restart my Yankees Franchise. Luckily I didn't even finish spring training so nothing too big happened. I wanna rebuild the Farm System and I was wondering what are the most effective trades I could make to do that?

What are you willing to give up? The Yanks don't really have a ton of trade pieces because of age/contracts and such. Brett Gardner might get you a fair return. Maybe Nova and Robertson also. Not too many other chips to trade.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

I wanna ship out Soriano Ideally. I don't wanna give up Gardner but I will if necessary. I definitely wanna deal Robertson. And I was thinking about shipping out Nova+Mitchell for Altuve. I'm also willing to move Sanchez, considering I plan on having McCann Catching for the next 3 seasons at least.

I don't see why Houston would trade you Altuve for Nova. Nova is a bit too old to fit into their plans. If you could give them a 23-24 y/o starter, they might do it.
Soriano is intriguing. The Cubs got B-rated (in OSFM) Corey Black for him. Maybe you could get a fringe prospect like that from a desperate team.

Sanchez could be part of a nice deal. Maybe sending him to the Giants to be Posey's heir apparent when he moves to 1st would work. Sanchez might be better suited to an AL team, though, with some questions about his defense. The White Sox and Tigers make some sense.
