Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Of the three, I see Campana being the most realistic. I guess if KC/DET is really out of it, those could happen. But you said you're in late June, right? I'd wait a month, and see how each team is doing at the deadline.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Cubs fans...The Cubs just lost Starlin Castro for 3 months due to an injury.
What pitching prospects would i be able to get for a package of.
C John Ryan Murphy (B Pot, 75 ovr)
OF Mason Williams (A Pot 67 ovr)
SS Didi Gregorius (C Pot, 75 ovr)
I was thinking someone like Gerardo Concepcion or Pierce Johnson. Thoughts?Comment

How early would it be reasonable for the Detroit Tigers to go out and get bullpen help? The BP really stinks and I can't wait to get some help.Nebraska Cornhuskers Detroit Tigers San Francisco 49ers Detroit Red Wings Syracuse Orange New York KnicksComment

Lol take Conception for a bag of balls. Is he even in the game? I know he's not on the roster set that I use.
Anyway, if that scenario popped up, we'd probably play Barney at SS and Bonifacio/Valbuena at 2B.
They're not trying to win this year, and if the Cubs are doing well in your franchise it shouldn't last for long. Castro going down doesn't warrant giving up pitching prospects (something we're not heavy with) for a fill in for him.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You could send him to the Mets for deGrom + something small, a mid to high C of your liking. (Don't know how high Mets fans value him, but that lines up with the spreadsheet values)
That's assuming that deGrom is still in the minors in your franchise, and whoever the Mets are trotting out to play SS isn't putting up good numbers.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
About to start Spring Training of 2015 and I am looking to move Domonic Brown. I was thinking maybe Boston or SF as potential targets. Both need some OF help, Boston has Willingham from a trade I made last year, Nava, Sizemore, and Victorino as their 4 who I project to be on their MLB roster after spring training, and SF has this group on the MLB roster in Spring training: Pence, Snider, Colvin, Pagan, Gary Brown, Juan Perez, Gregor Blanco, and Ryan Kalish. I'm pretty desperate to move Brown so I wouldn't ask for much at all in return. Dom finished the season batting .248 with 29 HR and 68 RBI. Thanks!Comment

Can you take on Victorino's expiring contract as a one year rental in return for Brown? Reunion in Philly for himFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Never too early to make a minor bullpen move. You're not getting a big time closer realistically at the beginning of the season. But fringe arms are everywhere. You can look at free agents too. You never know, there might be a gay rated meh who you will like to pitch with.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I really wish I would have known about this thread before the deal I just made. I always try and keep my game as realistic as possible but I feel like I just pulled a blatant steal from Minnesota. I offered Jose Veras and Ryan Sweeney to the Twins for Byron Buxton thinking, "they'll never accept that." Well, low and behold, they did. I'll chalk this one up to Theo's holding up the Twins at gunpoint but from now on I'll throw out my trades here and see what you guys think. On the other hand, I have a pretty serious minor league system now. Bryant, Baez, and now Buxton. Things are looking up on the North Side.Comment
