How about this one... the CPU (30-team control is offering this one).

Kansas City is offering James Shields, Louis Coleman, and Francisco Pena to Houston for Mark Appel, Carlos Correa, and George Springer.

Would Houston accept this? I'm saying no because there's no way Houston let's Correa go.

Jesus. Houston never does that for more reasons than just that.

Yeah, I agree. Houston wouldn't do that deal.

I think that makes my stance clear lol. They MIGHT do that for Stanton. MIGHT.

One question - with trades off will teams still add players to their trading block after a few months or will that not happen unless I have trades on?

Do you guys just make moves for CPU when there is something pending and then veto, accept or redo the trade? Or do you guys make trades for CPU teams before the trade deadline that are contending or should be selling? Not really sure how to handle this since I've never done 30 team control.

Sorry if it takes the thread off course, didn't know where else to ask.
Dookie, what I do is make trades for teams myself regardless of what the trading block says/does. I'll look at who's under-performing, or what a team just really needs then go from there (if said team is contending). Then I'll try to find them a match with a team that's either out of it or rebuilding. I usually wait until close to the deadline, as that's when most deals go down IRL. It also gives you a good understanding of who's playing poorly, and what teams are realistically out of it.

I honestly can't answer if teams will still put players on the block, because I don't ever look at it. I would assume they do though, if trading is on. But, it's a feature I just don't use because I don't trust the trade logic at all. If you're looking for realism, I think that's the way to go. It definitely gives you more control over the matter. That's just what I've always done, and the impression that I've got from everyone else.

Hope this helps a little bit. I'd say this is the correct thread to ask in, because I think it falls under trade discussion. Not really a specific one, but about trades nonetheless.

Dunno about the spreadsheet but massive win for PIT.

Agreed. I really like Ernesto. LAA hurt themselves, I think.

I doubt they would do that for Stanton. So far George Springer is in discussion for ROY and Stanton is about to be up for a big pay day.

Yeah, I can't fathom giving that up. That's like 3 top 30 prospects.

Yeah, I don't see them making any major moves until they start getting good or if they really need something to make them a winner. Just minor trades

Buster Posey will be out 2-3 months to begin the year for the Giants, which one of these makes sense to come in and start over Hector and then be Buster's back up:

NYY/COL get J. Arias (would this be fair for the NYY one) or SP Jack Snodgrass (26 52 low C) or CF Jesus Galindo (23 43 low C)

SF gets C Cervelli (NYY) C Michael Mckenry (COL)

                          MIA/ATL get SP Mike Kickham (25 61 C) RP Rafael Dolis (26 55 C) SP Kendry Flores (22 52 C)

SF gets C R. Brantly (MIA) C R. Doumit (ATL)

I'm (the Cubs) in search of some pitching prospects and a catcher. Here's who I have on the trade block (I'm in the second week of June in my franchise).

                                Jeff Samardzija
                                Jason Hammel
                                Emilio Bonifacio
                                Ryan Sweeney
                                Jose Veras
or pretty much anyone else other than Rizzo, and Castro.

What about Austin Hedges from San Diego? Would the Padres part with him? He's an A potential and only 21. What would I have to realistically give up to get him?
