I just did Pederson, Urias, and Zach Lee for Hamels and Ruiz in my franchise (dodgers need a catcher) and the guys on here felt that was fair. You could try and ask for more, but remember how huge Hamels and Ruiz contracts are and that probably limits the return a little.

In my opinion thats still a good haul from the dodgers.

Sounds good. I'm not the Dodgers but I am doing some trades for some of the CPU teams and the Phillies are out of it and the Dodgers are fighting for their division. Looks like a solid trade, thanks for your help!

Why do you want to get rid of Rodney. He has been great for the M's in real life and in my Franchise he currently has 45 saves for me. Which is probably everything the M's hoped for when they signed him for 2 years this past summer (so realistically he wouldn't be traded yet)

What are his current stats for you and what teams are need of a closer

Hey guys after your feedback and using the spread sheet as a guide I ended up making the following trades. Stanton and a throw in for Wheeler(78 Ovr 91 Pot), Syndergaard(71 Ovr 90 Pot), Dom Smith(58 Ovr 93 Pot), plawecki(60 Ovr 83 Pot), Puello (67 Ovr 87 Pot). Each player is 23 years old or younger. And for Baez I took on Edwin Jackson's contract(they were willing to trade Jackson for nothing), and traded Montero (71Ovr 94 Pot) , Parnell 79 Ovr 80 Pot, and Nimmo (58 Ovr 91 Pot). What do you guys think?

Don't like the realism but I think those are some very fair trades.

Yea no doubt I agree they are not realistic and will never really happen but the Mets line up is so bad I wanted to add some big talent for video game purposes while giving as fair trade return as possible. But the Mets young pitching is for real . People are sleeping on this DeGrom kid. He's a gamer.

I personally am still not a fan of the Cubs deal.

Well Jackson's salary is horrible, depending on how he is pitching in your franchise he is still worth a 2 High C's according to the spreadsheet, so that basically is Parnell.

Which leaves you trading Montero and Nimmo for Baez, which I don't see the Cubs need for Nimmo they already are loaded with prospects in the OF.

I would think it would be more fair to Wheeler and Plaweki in the Cubs deal (they get a SP who is MLB ready and a young catcher where they are weak)

Nimmo to the Marlins deal gives them a nice replacement for Stanton and by adding Montero and Nimmo to the deal the Marlins are getting the Mets Top-4 prospects plus #7 which is more then any other team could offer them for Stanton.

If you are not looking to play a long term franchise then trading away 7 of your Top-10 prospects for 2 players makes sense, but if you are planning on playing it out several seasons, I just couldn't give up that much of the farm.

Those are very valid points and switching the prospects around seem to make more sense to fit the teams they are going to. I'm going to do that. And I'm not sure if my franchise will be long term or not but the line up just lacks power and overall hitting. After Wright and Granderson there are a lot of borderline major leaguers. Thanks for the feed back.

Also the Cubs have Schwarber on the roster I'm using. I don't know if that switches your thinking on the Plawecki part of the trade.

BAL sends: SP Eduardo Rodriguez (low A, 20 y/o 63 Ovr)
                      SP Mike Wright (High B, 24 y/o 69 Ovr) 11-5 2.89 ERA in AAA
                      Jonathan Schoop (low B, 22 y/o 75 Ovr) .228/.283/.315 in 86 games
KC sends: James Shields (89 Ovr, 32 y/o) 7-8 3.06 ERA in majors
I am at the trade deadline and the Orioles are leading their division and the Royals are out of it. I feel like the Orioles might not be giving up enough but I can swap out Schoop with another one of the Orioles many pitching prospects.

By the sheet that deal works but if you are going for realism, no. The O's are still high on schoop even with his struggles in his first year and think he can become a 20-25 hr hitter. If they were going to give up on him it would probably have to be for something better. I would swap Schoop with another pitching prospect,Zach Davies maybe? I believe he's a low or mid b in game (his potential raised in my franchise as he tore it up with me simming the minors games for an entire year, so his B rating in mine could be from that.)

I took Schoop and Rodriguez out of the trade and added Hunter Harvey to go along with Wright. Harvey is a low-mid A so I think those two would be good to get Shields. I know Harvey is a really good prospect but KC isn't going to give up Shields without them getting a really good guy in return.
As for Schoop I agree that he is very valuable to the O's and I kinda underestimated him. I also noticed that KC have Omar Infante signed to a 4 year deal so getting Schoop probably wouldn't make sense anyway. Thank you for your input!

He's not a Catcher. They drafted him as one but there is no way he sticks at Catcher.

Moustakas is pretty bad though. His OBP is approaching the Arencibia line (yeah, we made that a thing) and he's under the Mendoza line and while I normally don't care about BA.. come on, lol. Idk.
