    It's a blasphemer! Stone him!

    Kidding.

I agree. The sheet is great for ballparking things, but improv is a must when crafting deals. You know, kinda like sabermatics.

If you say it isn't a Dodger's move then I think you haven't been reading around reports here in the last while, they don't want to kill their farm in a trade so Plouffe is a bit perfect for them.
Ummmm, are you calling out my knowledge of the Dodgers and agreeing with me both at the same time? lol. Or are you using the royal/plural "you" ? Cause Plouffe to LAD was my original plan, breh.

Aside from that, glad to hear that someone out there agrees with me that Plouffe --> LAD makes sense.

I gave you 2 different deals on Plouffe to LAD. I just agreed with AC than it was a minor deal for them, hence my justification for not including the better pitcher.

I'm willing to blame AC for the entire thing but I'm new and might not get to play with you guys anymore if I start trouble. However, I'm very willing to pile on.

Okay I want to make 1 trade and get the 3 pieces I need lol. Do not want to trade any of my starters except Rasmus can go if need be. I have the same Jays roster and at the all star break. I have been mulling a couple options as advised on here a few pages back but need to add to it.

I want to grab a 2B/3B (Move Lawrie to 2B), SP, and Bat of any pos. who bats against LHP. Here are my ideas. Please tell me what I would have to give for the package or how I can edit what I get back if there is something else that makes more sense. I chose teams that were out of it:

          - Prado/Hill + Colmenter/Milley/Corbin + Bat vs. LHP (Parra?)
          - Headley + Kennedy + Bat vs. LHP (Quentin?)
          - Murphy + Gee/Colon + Chris Young
          - Utley + Hammels + Mayberry

These are the main combos I could find but would be intrigued to hear some other ideas as well if anyone has them. Thanks

I look for every opportunity to plug my favorite guy to acquire via trade in this game: Plouffe from MIN, who plays every position and is a monster vs. LHP. I'd take a good look at him in that role, as you can get him on the cheap and if you just play him vs. LHP, he's an elite-level bat.

For 2B, if you're looking for a steal, you might check out either Gordon or Guerrero from LAD. Gordon has that sick speed, great drag bunt ability, great steal ratings, and an awesome "reaction" rating, which translates to first step and range in the field. He's got 83 CON vs. RHP, too, which is quite good, in the latest SCEA roster.

You can't make it Collmenter/Miley/Corvin, as all three vary in skill level.

That's possible, I'll leave it to AC to come up with a package.

I don't see Toronto getting all of them in one deal, tbh.

I know you meant one. But they're three very different values, and can't be compared with each other. In short, they would require three different deals. Plus I don't see Corbin getting traded any time soon.

I'm the Twins and its at the start of July (playing every game) and we're are only 4 GB of the division and 2.5 GB of the wild card. I really want to compete and overtake the Royals for first place. Here is the problem, last game I had 2 major injuries... Brian Dozier for 2-3 months (One of my best hitters) and Phil Hughes for 3-4 weeks (My best pitcher).. Needless to say these injuries will drag me out of the race without some trade help from you guys.

I really tried to hold off til the deadline to make trades, but I really need to make some moves now. I will trade any prospect besides Buxton and Sano since they are both MLB starters hitting over .300. Here is some of my prospects stats (using OSFM hybrid pitch edits roster)

                    Kohl Stewart: SP 19 Y/O 65 overall/93 potential. 4-5 76.2 IP 83 SO 2.82 ERA (AA)

                    Jose Berrios: SP 19 Y/O 64 overall/85 potential. 4-6 62.2 IP 53 SO 3.80 ERA (AA)

                    Lewis Thorpe: SP 18 Y/O 62 Overall/80 Potential. 3-5 81 IP 71 SO 4.00 ERA (AA)

                    Zack Jones: CP 23 Y/O 63 overall/83 potential. 27.1 IP 21 SO 2.63 ERA 20 SVs (AAA)

                    Tyler Jones: CP 24 Y/O 62 overall/83 Potential. 21 IP 17 SO 2.57 ERA 21 SV (AAA)

                    Eddie Rosario: 2B 22 Y/O 65 overall/85 Potential. .269 2 HR 19 RBI (AA)

                    Travis Harrison: 3B 21 Y/O 62 overall/81 potential. .244 7 HR 23 RBI (AA)

                    Adam Brett Walker: RF 22 Y/O 60 overall/81 Potential. .2628 HR 35 RBI (AA)

                    Trevor May: SP 24 Y/O 67 overall/79 Potential. 4-7 3.96 era 52 SO 74 IP (MLB)

I have plenty of other high quality C prospects, but those are some of the more notable ones. I also drafted 3 A potential Starting Pitchers with pretty good overalls, also drafted a 95 potential/66 overall first basemen. I could trade those guys as PTBNL.

Now I looked at all the teams that were completely out of it to see some potential deals.. I need a Catcher that can hit righties, a pitcher that can be a NO. 3 or higher, an outfielder with a huge stick, and a middle infielder that can hit and replace Dozier. Heres some players I'm looking at.

                    Rays (11GB)

                    Price: 7-4 3.06 era 105 SO

                    Archer: 2-8 4.19 era 74 SO
                    Zobrist: .295 3 HR 33 RBIS

Indians (14.5 GB, I don't mind inter-division trades as long as they're realistic)

                    Masterson: 4-5 3.28 era 95 SO
                    Kipnis: .247 7 HR 31 RBI

                    White Sox (11 GB)

                    Garcia: bench/10 games in minors

Tigers (15 GB! worst record in league)

Sorry for the long post, I just thought I'd list everyone that'd interest me on teams that are out of it. I'd really like a strikeout NO 3 and up pitcher, catcher hitting righties, a good hitting MI, and a good hitting outfielder. Please let me know who would be the most realistic to target and what I should offer. Thanks, for the help in advance!
What about an in house SP option like fireballing Alex Meyer? I am running a Twins chise and he's doing well. You could also look at Scott Diamond.

What about a Doumit/Uggla package from the Braves? Doumit could fill in at C against LHP and the Braves would pretty much pay you to take Uggla. Sure he's bad IRL and his contract sucks IRL, but maybe you could hit well with him. And his contract is likely a lot smaller in the game.

If not that, you could swing Kazmir + Jaso pretty easily. The A's could also add in Jed Lowrie if they're really buried. That's 3 pieces in 1 trade.

I'd look at Torii Hunter homecoming for your OF.

All the Andrus/La Stella/Upton/Garcia/Archer/Cespedes pie in the sky stuff is not going to happen realistically.

Overall, it's a nice reference list as a lot of people are approaching the deadline in franchises.
There's not much available brah. It's looking like Headley and Willingham are the headliners, which is pretty pathetic.

Fair? Sure. Realistic? Nope. If anything, you may have overpaid slightly.

Yeah, I remember now that you saw Plouffe --> LAD as a decent move but just mandated that I couldn't get Stripling back

I think I am going to resurrect that Plouffe --> LAD idea, but look into that Magill+ package you mentioned.

Ya didn't think Corbin but figured collmenter would be available

Thanks for the reply! I've tried everything with pitchers in house, Alex Meyer is actuall my only good starter besides hughes! I like the idea with the A's, would it be realistic and how much do you think it'd cost me?

I'd take a good look at him in that role, as you can get him on the cheap and if you just play him vs. LHP, he's an elite-level bat.

For 2B, if you're looking for a steal, you might check out either Gordon or Guerrero from LAD. Gordon has that sick speed, great drag bunt ability, great steal ratings, and an awesome "reaction" rating, which translates to first step and range in the field. He's got 83 CON vs. RHP, too, which is quite good, in the latest SCEA roster.

Thanks man but what would the dodgers want for Gordon? Btw plouffe I had in mind but he's out for 3 months haha

You can get Gordon for pretty cheap from the Dodgers because they have Guerrero right under him and are looking to move him typically near the AS break. The CPU trade logic tends to value players who have stud prospects right below them quite a bit less than players with no clear MLB-ready replacements, especially when the ratings differential is minimal. With Gordon and Guerrero, I believe the differential is only 2-3 points in OVR by mid-season. Gordon is below average vs. LHP, but you don't face lefty starters nearly as often as righty starters. Even so, his speed and bunting ability play so well that you can leave him in vs. LHP and get some production. And I happen to think that the reaction rating is one of the more important fielding ratings because it's tied to range, so his high rating there makes him play well in the field.

I'm willing to blame AC for the entire thing but I'm new and might not get to play with you guys anymore if I start trouble. However, I'm very willing to pile on.
                              Yeah, screw that AC guy.

Granderson is hitting .267 with 10 homers and 35 RBI. Would it be realistic to trade for him or would the Mets not trade him yet. My other idea is to trade for Alex Rios (.234 2HR 18 RBI) but if I traded for Rios I would like to include Feliz in the deal. Would either of these trades be realistic?
If were you I'd consider Kole Calhoun, Dexter Fowler, Craig Gentry. Those 3 have worked very well for me in the past.
