LOL I'm gonna give a pass on the realism of all Stanton trades right now. Limited time offer.

Zimmer, Ventura, Mondesi, Starling, Manaea, probably.

        Tyler Marlette C (C)

        PHI:

        Marlon Byrd RF (C)

        SEA:

        David Price SP (A)

        TB:

        Taijaun Walker SP (A)
        Nick Franklin 2B (B)
        Tyler Pike SP (B)
        Daniel Farquhar RP (C)
        Chris Taylor SS (B)

Give's the Ms a legit rotation for challenging the A's and Angels. TB is out of it and needs to restock it's young talent which this would do. M's grab Byrd as a good right bat...
That deal for Byrd was much better. WTNY just traded Willingham for the same 2 players.

As far as the Price deal I would be okay with it, if Price was willing to sign a extension, but no way I want Seattle to give up Walker without one.

I personally feel with Felix as our #1, Iwakuma as our #2, Walker fits in jus fine as a #3 with Young as our #4, and guy's like Paxton,Elias,Maurer,E. Rameriz, B. Beavan, all capable of holding down the #5 spot until Hultzen is healthy, and if with guy's like Sanchez, Fernandez, Pike and Diaz coming down the road as well, Walker could slide up to #2, with those guy's filling the 3-5 spots. I personally prefer we spend the prospects on upgrading the Offense.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

In July with my Yankees and am 2.5 GB of the division lead. I was looking to acquire some starting pitching help to help me make a run. I noticed the Phils were out of it and had Lee on the block. He is 7-7 and has a 3.4ish era. I was curious as to if there would be a way to swing a deal with PHI so far out of it. They also had Hamels available but I don't think I have anywhere near what it would take for him. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Also, only concerned with making a FAIR trade

They have barely enough. AC pretty much hit the nail on the head.

You have enough for Lee, but not Hamels. Gary Sanchez is required. But do the Yankees even have a high B?

Sorry, bro. If you're the Yanks you don't have near the prospects to make even a fair deal for Hamels or Lee. You've got to shop for SPs a couple tiers down with the total lack of high-end assets in the Yankees farm system.

Think along the lines of deals for Brandon McCarthy and Jeff Francis that they've been making.

Maybe I'm not high enough on Sanchez, but I absolutely don't think NYY has the chips to get an ace, even an old one like Lee.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

OK long post here made manageable with spoilers. Basically this is a complete set of mostly cpu-cpu deals that I invented for my Twins chise at the trade deadline. If you want to chime in with an opinion on any of these, feel free to do so and if something's really wrong, I'll take a another look...but this is more for the purposes of giving other guys ideas for cpu-cpu trades in their chises. You can assume the stats on all players are pretty average for everyone. I did my best to make these as realistic as possible given the contenders/sellers in my chise as well as:

                  1. not dealing prospects that were recently drafted
                  2. keeping guys with lots of team control on struggling teams and not rushing to trade them just because
                  3. keeping budgets and financial flexibility in mind for low budget teams
                  4. keeping intra-division trades to minor ones and limiting the amount of them

I will tease these by saying one of these spoilered deals involves Chase Headley.

Just a recommendation to those running a Mariners franchise, do not deal Taijuan Walker. I've done a number of sims and he ends up being one of the best Pitchers in the league.

WTNY, I know it's a lot, but it's hard to analyze all those deals without stats. Like the first one for example, he's having a great year irl that would make his value much higher than a low B, but I don't know how he's doing in your chise.

I just got offered Devon Travis and Corey Knebel for Curtis Granderson.

Granderson's having a great season, hitting .305/.321/.552 with 21 homers and 49 RBI to go along with 6 SB. I'm selling, so I'm looking to deal Granderson. Is this a fair offer, or could I hold out for more from a different team?

Halfway through June with the Royals and I am 40-33. I am looking for an outfielder because my only consistent one is Gordon and I would also like another relief pitcher. The Mets are 28-45 and are already 12 GB. Granderson is hitting .267 with 10 homers and 35 RBI. Would it be realistic to trade for him or would the Mets not trade him yet. My other idea is to trade for Alex Rios (.234 2HR 18 RBI) but if I traded for Rios I would like to include Feliz in the deal. Would either of these trades be realistic?

I don't think the Ranger would want to give up Feliz. For a RP check out Crain from the Astros, won't have to give up much to get him.

Both could be had for a couple decent prospects. Rios moving would be more realistic (he's in the rumor mill) but adding Feliz would make it expensive...for an arbitration eligible RP...with arm trouble.
