You could also swap Hedges for Grandal in the package instead which I'd prefer as the Dodgers since it's putting them in more of a win now mode.
I disagree with a lot of this. There's something to be said about getting the best player in a deal, and trading a high B for a mid B and a high C is certainly trading down. It's like trading a 20 for a ten and two fives. Why bother when you can just keep it as the most valuable piece?

And even if we were doing this, I'd venture to say that 1 High B = 1 Mid B and 1 Low B, and that Hedges + Fried is closer to 3 high B's. So Headley, Hedges and Fried isn't enough for Puig imo.

How would you structure the deal if it was built around Headley to begin with?

I feel like Headley's not a hugely valuable piece and probably wouldn't sign on with the Dodgers unless it was an overpay (one can get sick of playing in NL West pitcher parks).

But if I had to, I mean... probably Headley + Gyorko + Peterson + Grandal/Hedges + Kelly. I dunno. The Padres don't really have the assets for Puig imo. And it's hard to imagine Puig getting traded for anything less than a giant haul

Agree. Would have to be a big package and probably a bit of an overpay as well given how hyped Puig is

Are there any trade I can make to replenish the Angels farm system. What would be the best way in doing that.

Spreadsheet will be up and running in a moment, if my technological rejiggering worked.

I'd try and trade Aybar/Kendrick for prospects and play Grant Green/Taylor Lindsey at MI. Your lineup should be power heavy enough to offset the loss.

Should also focus on trading either Iannetta or Conger to cash in a prospect or two.

                  Also Wilson, Weaver and Hamilton.

If you're sending them Headley and they're parting with Puig, Headley needs to be under contract for more than the 2014 season to keep it fairly realistic.

So the Padres probably can't acquire Puig. Who else do you think are some options that Headley + some other players can be shipped out for?

Also when you say "High B" or "Low A" etc etc, do you mean like high B as in 87-89 overall or 87-89 potential?

Is a high B a 88 overall player with B potential or a 70 overall player with 88 potential or is it both?

Sorry for the confusion, I'm a bit new to this.

Not very good at trades, but maybe you could go for someone like Matt Kemp? Realistically, it seems ok because if Ethier is doing good, then they would have an outfield of Crawford, Ethier and Puig. I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not though. Just my 2 cents...

Kemp probably has negative value right now and wouldn't be a smart acquisition for the Padres at all

May be a stupid question, but has anyone figured a way to do 3 team trades?

The only way to do it is to make two different trades sadly it has been added into MLB the show yet

Maybe it is my fault but I click on the link on the OP for the sheet and it doesn't work. Were you able to get it up or is my computer being difficult?
