You could probably get a low B back from Oakland for Jimmy, believe he is from around there and they could slide him or Lowrie over to 2B easily.
Yeah, it's tough because I had to take on the contracts of Holland and Soto just to allow the Rangers to take on his salary. I could switch out Williams for pretty much any prospect I wanted, and I forgot to mention Luke Jackson actually bumped up to an A.

With Jimmy, The A's are 11.5 back in the West and 5.5 back in the WC, with Lowrie and Callaspo playing well at SS and 2B respectively. Plus Rollins OBP is a pretty bad .262 haha. The Rollins deal is more of an extra just to try and grab one extra prospect before the deadline, and I'm not expecting anything more than a high C or low B at best for him. I'm more concerned about the Hamels deal.

      Lackey (6-4 4.89 69K)
      Peavy (4-10 3.40 105K)

Not looking for a lot for them obviously, but they're in their last year of contracts and I'm not making the playoffs. Thoughts?
Who's in contention and in need of starters? According to the spreadsheet you could get a high B and mid B for Peavy, which I think matches up well with his stats you listed. With Lackey you'd probably want to look at a low B or high C based on his stats.

Hamels is worth two A's plus some but you are also getting back Holland and Soto, so if Williams is a B or so I would do it or just find a suitable replacement for him that you like.

So never mind on the A's haha, who is competing right now in your chise?

I went through and the teams in contention who seem like they could use some help in the rotation are: Det, KC, LAA, Atl, Col and Col.

StL, Mil, and ChiSox could use some but from the looks of it the others would be more realistic.

Are the Rangers in contention? You could get your mid and low B for Peavy from them for sure. Who all is contending to want Lackey? Looks like he is reverting to his early Sox days...haha

Edit: Lackey to Angels for Cron? If Cron is mid to low B, if not then not sure what else they have to offer.
Peavy would fit with Angels or Rockies I guess, if Braves really need him then I bet they would give up the talent needed.

Yeah, especially since Hamels is pitching with a 9-3 record and a 2.29 ERA in 137.2 IP haha. I could look elsewhere to deal Hamels if I have to, it's just tricky looking for a competing team that needs a SP AND can take on his salary, and Texas met both as long as I take on some of their contracts.

Teams competing in my franchise right now (and by competing I'll just say within 4 games of division or a WC Spot) ATL, WAS, STL, LAD, ARI, COL, TB, TOR, NYY, KC, DET, TEX, BOS

Haha, like I said it's tough to get a lot back in terms of prospects because of his salary. A lot of the teams don't want it.

Hard to really think clearly on his deal, he is getting back Holland and Soto which are both decent enough to equal that B he should get with Hamels. Then Luke covers one A, but he can get one more A back as well. Interesting deal for sure though, I kinda like it

Yeah Cron for Lackey works for me, he looked like a Mid B on my file.

I'll ship Peavy to Colorado, any thoughts who they may give up? Rosell Herrera looks like a mid/low B. contact hitter, I'd have too many SS/3B. But I guess that would be a good problem to have. lol

Texas is a great fit, just try and find another A you would like.

ATL - no, WAS - no, STL - no, LAD - how is Dee and 3B doing?, ARI - how is SS?, COL - no, TB - how is Escobar?, NYY - interesting, DET - Iglesias alive?, KC - no, TEX - Profar alive?, BOS - how is Brooks and do they have Drew?

                          That should be fine then.

I'd try to snag one of their OF along with Rosell, Dahl seems like he is undervalued on spreadsheet but if he is a B on your set I would do that in a heart beat.

Heck spreadsheet wise, you could end up with Brothers and Dahl for Peavy if Peavy is producing like he is if you want to pull the trigger on that...realistically I would do Rosell and Trevor Story, (if he is a B) he plays OF and INF if I am not mistaken so that utility will be nice from a 20 year old.

Yeah, I'll definitely be sending Hamels to Texas once I figure out the return. Plus I just realized I forgot to manually injure Holland and Soto since they have been hurt all year irl so they'll have to sit in class A for the remainder of 2014 if I get them haha. Anyway, here's a quick rundown of the teams you mentioned that might be interested.

LAD: Hanley has torn mcl and is out for year, Dee Gordon hitting .215 with 3 RBIs in 90 ABs and .247 OBP, Uribe at 3rd hitting .254 with 9 HR and 53 RBI and a .313, Chone Figgins is starting at SS and is hitting .259 with a homer and 15 RBI is 159 ABs and a .315 OBP. Justin Turner is platooning with him but has similar numbers

ARI: Didi is hitting .274 with 7 HRs and 34 RBI .365 OBP , Owings in AAA hitting .339 with 8 HR and 60 RBI .429 OBP

TB: Escobar hitting .241 9 HR 49 RBI .298 OBP

DET: Iglesias hitting .230 with 4 HR and 27 RBI .279 OBP, Alex Gonzalez off bench has similar numbers in less ABs. Suarez in AAA hitting .266 with 4 HR and 38 RBI and a .341 OBP

TEX: Profar hitting .259 with 9 HR and 36 RBI .339 OBP

BOS: No Drew as they signed him in the middle of the year irl so I din't sign him in my franchise, but I may put him on the Red Sox if you think they'd do that instead... which I would assume they would. Middlebrooks hitting .234 15 HR and 48 RBI .290 OBP. Jonathan Herrera starting at SS with a .227 average and 2 HR and 20 RBI is 330 AB, .302 OBP. Bogaerts off bench hitting .262 with 8 HR and 36 RBI .345 OBP 195 ABs
