Not just you guys either. That dude was trolling the NBA Finals thread looking to mix it up in there as well. Good job mods!

It's definitely a pet peeve of mine (other than guys with RDS, lol) when someone asks your opinion and immediately insults it. If someone is that smart, my help is not needed anyway. Not worth your time..

so would also acquiring Rollins be a possibility in addition to Brown? Would another B prospect be enough? Cincy's minor league talent (beyond Stephenson) is very weak, and I realize this trade will deplete it further (especially for an aging SS).

      Thanks!

What's the trade you're looking to make? Sorry if I missed it earlier.

Oops, totally- I thought I quoted from before.

Here's the original post "Hey guys- without getting in to standings too deep, but I'm Cincy, and in the hunt, while the Phils are out of it near the deadline. Any possibility of a Dom Brown trade? I'd like to have him as the right side of a LF platoon. I know he's a massive dissapointment still with upside to Phils, but if they do a larger sell off, could they part with him? I'm banking on a change of scenery situation to help.

I'd even be open to including Rollins to upgrade a struggling Cozart, but not critical.

Anyway, does a Winker (or Ervin), Travesio, Leake (or Heisey) deal for Brown make sense to rebuilding Phils? What would I need to add to also bring in Rollins?

Thanks so much guys- going for realism, so bash away too if needed"

What are Brown's numbers looking like?

I'm starting to think the roster set I used was a mistake. Some of my numbers seem way off.

That's out of the question for me. My pitching is what has me in the race. Felix, 'Kuma, and Walker all have ERA's in the 2's. As for Walker, he's 9-2 with a 2.79 ERA and 120/29 K's/BB's in 95 innings. He's been unbelievable as a rookie. I'll offer them Paxton, Franklin, and Gabriel Guerrero. That's 2 A's and a B. Guerrero has been tearing up AA though hitting .325, 10 HR, and 55 RBI. I wanted to develop him into a beast like his uncle. But for Stanton, I may have to toss him in.

Do what you want, it's your chise, but as the prior poster indicated, there's no way you are getting Stanton in a fair deal while holding out on giving your best prospect. It just ain't happening. If you are only offering Paxton, Franklin, and Vlad's relative, then you are nowhere near Stanton's value and Miami would really have no incentive to do anything like that with Giancarlo cost-controlled for some time yet.

I'm willing to center a package around Paxton, but I can't seem to find anything that will work for both teams. Any suggestions?
I don't see a possible deal without including Walker even with the stats he has. Who are some other targets you have for an impact bat?

Michael Cuddyer could be a great option for you, depending on how the Rockies are doing.

I couldn't see the Rays making the Brantley/Paulino for Moore deal to start with. And with Price most likely gone this season, they can't afford to lose Moore if they expect to compete.

Staton cost more than he's worth, so I would think about looking somewhere else. You said you needed a RH I believe? Any specific positions your looking for?

I'm looking to move Marcell Ozuna straight up for a young infielder. I'm in mid June and he's hitting .350+ with 3 HR and 8 RBI in about 50 AB (he was in the minors to start the year then got injured when I called him up). I'm not necessarily looking to rebuild, it's just that I have Marisnick who I prefer over Ozuna and I could really use some help in my middle infield. Any ideas? Preferably young major league 2B/SS or major league ready 2B/SS prospects. I thought about Mookie Betts, is that fair?

Considering that Boston is grooming Betts to be a CF over the last games in AAA, it wouldn't be realistic for Ozuna to come over in his place. Betts offers more versatility for Boston (2B/CF). But I consider it being fair

Currently 14-20 in my Twins 'chise. The Dodgers have Andre Either on the trading block looking for a RP. I'm considering trading away Glen Perkins who is red hot, for Either and it'll be saving me 3M in cap space. I can definitely use Ethier's 91 Contact to help me get some runs since we're in the bottom 5 in runs scored. The start of my pitching rotation is currently the worst (2-11) where the bottom of my rotation is red hot (12-4). I'll give these guys time to get their groove back and won't trade for a pitcher. However, I'm really looking into Andre Ethier. Any thoughts?
