I haven't had a chance to play yet due to the digital version being so late I had to install overnight and go to work knowing this is waiting at home for me. So frustrating.

Question, are there rain outs in franchise mode? I've always wanted this but it's never there. I'm a huge fan of realism and think this is a key detail that is always missed.

i have a question, playing online when I pitch I see the ball slower than when I'm at bat. when i'm batting, the speed seems normal but pitching is like the game is a different speed. I don't know if it is happening to everyone or if just some sliders that I need to change.

Why is it that I cannot sign free agents in my franchise mode when I have sufficient funds? I receive an error saying that I "can no longer afford the contract offered to [player]". I have no pending offers out there and I have more than enough in funds to sign him.

The way that works that although you're seeing the ball pitched at a slower speed, the other player is seeing the pitch come in at normal, offline play speed. The other player doesn't have an advantage in this, you get the same offline-style hitting when you're at the plate while he watches the pitch float in in slow motion. That's just how they did the online play this year - to make it so the hitting experience isn't affected by internet latency (lag).

Neither side gets an advantage out of this.

How do you throw the ball faster when throwing towards a base? My throws are too slow.

And how do you hide the ball when pitching? I'm new to this

can't seem to find the option to change bunting to pure analog while using timing hitting.

The option was taken away. It is now specifically tied to batting option so if you are using timing you can only use the classic option.

To answer your question, maybe no one knows themselves. I don't use a mic during games. I know you can party chat on PS4. In game chat, I'm not sure.

I am having problems in franchise, when I end spring training my lineups and roster resets and they send players down to triple a. Also all of my setting are set at manual. Any help

I don't think there is an option for this.

It's pressure sensitive. I use analog fielding, the the longer I hold it in the direction of the base it throws harder.
