Haven't got the game yet. I always use automated baserunning. In previous years I could still tell a baserunner to steal. Is that possible this year? Sorry if this has been dealt with already, but this is a very long thread to check through!

Is there any way to turn off the MBB updates in the menus?

I watch game archives after work so it has already ruined/spoiled a few games for me. I turned it off in game, but I can't find any option to turn it off in menus.

Is the only way to log out of PSN?

Could anyone answer this for me? What kind of music is playing in the generic walk-up music? Classic,metal,alt.rock,hip hop, country and Latin... Where does this music comes from? Its different than the game's soundtrack. I have always wandered about this.

Nope. Unless I'm missing something.
So is there any place to check the pitcher confidence/stamina when you have the on screen display off?

Still can't get the pulled back camera when behind the pitcher, says down on d-pad and right stick when in pitcher or outfield cameras.

Also seems the screen with the opposition fielding details(good arm,speed,fielding ect.) is no longer available.

Read there was meant to be organ music, in the handfull of games i played haven't heard any. is it only in certain parks.

I preordered the game with Gamestop so I have 19.99 in game currency which is basically 30k stubs.

My question is, if I purchase the 30k stub RTTS boost, does that apply to all of my RTTS now and forever?

I'm not liking the new SELECT screen this year. Last year was great and had a lot more info straight away.

Could someone maybe make a comparison between the two?

I don't have 13 anymore and can't find a screenshot online.

Theres a little orange circle at the bottom right of the franchise menu screen. Took me till now to realize it was the alert for emails. But it says 99+ and there is no where near 99 messages in my inbox. Am i missing something?

I've had issues trying to insert a pinch runner or perform a double-switch, where the player I'm trying to replace stays in the game. The confirmation screen pops up, I confirm that I want to perform this substitution, returns to the game as normal, but the substitution never takes place.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I don't like the "Homerun Camera"...

In previous installments there was an option to turn it off.

Am I missing something? Help.

When should I use the power and contact swing? Is one more efficient than the other?

In general, use power when you are ahead in the count and contact when you have 2 strikes. You're more likely to at least hit the ball with contact over power.

There are exceptions to this of course. Take someone like Adam Dunn. I'm assuming his ratings match real life, he's an all or nothing guy. His contact should be really low and power really high, so always use a power swing with him.

There was a thread about strategies depending on the count. I couldn't locate it quickly but I'd search for that. That would give you everything you needed to know.
