Hey.. first of all, why i can't create a new topic? i just registered my account.

You have to have a certain amount of post before you are allowed to post threads. No one knows the amount.

Second, how do i set up fielding to manual? cause i hate it to get near the ball coming down, and it is just so automatic, i move my player towards the ball coming down and then the cpu adjusts him so he can get the ball with no problems..

There is no full manual only assist and auto. I THINK it's under fielding / advanced setting area

The only thing i found refering to Fielding, is the throwing difficulty.

Does the line-up change game-to-game automatically when a player needs rest or do I have to sub manually?

It will ask you. Like it will say "Jeter is having a rough go lately and maybe you should give him a day off"
Your options are to sub yourself, auto sub him or skip it and he plays.

Guys I have a couple questions as I'm a beginner going through a bad losing streak in my season.


I am using zone hitting (with the PCI) and I can't figure out how to aim where I hit. It says I can use the left stick to aim, but when I do that, my PTI just ends up losing its spot and I whiff on the ball.

How do you aim where to hit WHILE keeping the PCI where you want it? When I do make contact it seems to go straight towards second base unless I'm early/late.

Also when I make contact should I be holding down the hit button for better impact?

Finally, when picking off how do I throw to the base faster? I simply double tap the base I want to throw to?

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but the slap hit style and Japanese hit styles dont seem to be available for rtts. I Made a player form scratch and put Ichiros batting stance and the follow through was just the regular two handed follow through and not the japanese style follow through. Same With slap style stances. There is no option other then one handed or two handed follow through. Anybody have a way to get those animations onto my rtts player?

You're aiming where the ball is coming into the zone NOT where you want to hit it. You can influence the hit by using the RS maybe before the pitch..?? Don't know exactly as I use timed hitting.
But zone hitting is aiming where the ball is not where you want to hit the ball. Just move the PCI to where you think the ball will end up and swing.

Nope. You just hit the button.

A single tap is a "lob" where a double tap is quick. Or vice versa. I always get them confused.

When I started up the game it was acting weird the intro was going really slow so I skipped it and when I finally got in a game everything was in slow motion. I tried it again and the same thing happened so I deleted it and re-installed the game. After it got done I loaded up my franchise and when I looked at my profile it was at 1 again. I lost the $20 of stubs does anyone know what I can do to get it back?

The intro was very skippy one time and I thought it was my speakers. Restarted system and and it was fine again. But sometimes the first few seconds of the intro sound a little skippy. I remember it was kinda like that for last year's intro fro me too.

No you don't. The game decides for you based on weekday, weekend or throwback days
