Do you guys think the roster updates that were already released for the PS3 version will be available day 1 for the PS4?

I noticed Brandon Hicks wasn't on the Giants roster during a stream but he was added the very first PS3 update

There will be a day one update for PS4, but I believe there is one that has him on it now, just the guy on the stream doesn't have the updated rosters. There was the most recent update on Apr. 28.

Watching the streams tonight, the lighting in the outfield is being done on purpose. If you can upload a video of a replay and move the camera to the outfield, you will see the stands light up as you get close to them.

That's because the game is using HDR, which simulates how the eye adjusts to different light levels. When it brightens with the camera close to the outfield, that means the game is simulating human night vision. It's still WAY darker than it should be. I've been to Busch. The only place it's as dark as it is in-game is at the seats near/behind the pillars at the tops of stairs leading to snack pavilions. </br /> </br /> It's not just a problem with HDR, either. I noticed this during other night games, Busch and PNC Park: none of the buildings at night light up. It's like the entire city's gone out and the stadium's running on emergency power. But that's a slightly more complex issue that I don't expect to get patched. MLB 15, I expect, for that one.

The light levels at Busch, however, do need to be fixed soon. Just brighten the lights in the stands. That's it. They don't need to be blinding, they just need to look like the fans can safely move about and find their nachos without putting on military grade IR goggles.

I'm not sure if every team has one or if it rotates between in stadium screens and the static photo.

I was wondering is it just me , I am patriotic and love seeing our flag but does it seem that they kinda " over did " the flags just a little for the PS4 version ??

They should put state and city flags in to mix things up a bit.

Just saw that, it looks pretty bad unfortunately. In real life Choo has a high finish, in the vid he kinda just chops at the ball.

The swing path looks so odd, I'm not even sure you can hit a flyball swinging like that. A swing with lift should naturally have a higher finish due to angles , the force of the swing, and all that good stuff.

I just spent 10 minutes swinging a bat to see if that kind of swing path could produce a flyball lol

While you were swinging that bat did you notice that it's round?

I've got a question for those with the game already and are saying there are slow loading....do you guys have the default hard drive in your PS4 or did you upgrade it to something else?

I've also stated in a few places that the load times get better after those first two long loads. The game seems to do well buffering assets so that you do not have to reload them every time. I'm guessing this is a big upgrade over the PS3 that did not have that capability.
