I'm playing manually. If I have runners on 1st & 3rd, what buttons do I push to attempt to steal 2nd without attempting to steal home?

You need to get a couple of fake players....export them....and import over the real players with them.

You'd need quite a few or at least edit a smaller amount to be different(ratings).
You'd obviously have to edit some positions and the names/ages/etc as well.
I think someone already has a fictional roster project .....look in the roster section of these forums.

I remember seeing this topic a while back but don't know if there was ever given a definitive solution: how the hell do you get guys to stop auto sliding on hit and runs when you use analog hitting? It's also happened in key situations when I have a runner on second & I get a single. The runner will slide into third base. My base running is on assist. I wish there was an option to turn it off completely.

Hopefully next year they can reduce the slide animation time.

You need to put sliding decisions to ON.

It has nothing to do with baserunning and is caused by you accidently initiating/starting a slide by moving your stick when sliding decisions is set to assist.

I'll give it a shot but I'm not 'accidentally' initiating anything. This problem didn't exist in any other iteration of the Show.

Looking at the list of available free agents in the off season, is there a way to see which free agents have received a qualifying offer from their teams? I'd like to know if I'd be sacrificing a draft pick to get them before trying to get them...

Ran a test and the answer is you can't. Buyer beware I guess.

Are you using 30 team control?
If you are...go to the OFFERS page on the team screen and cycle through the teams.....it will tell you which players the CPU controlled teams gave (Q) offers to.

Is the MLBTS Dev team thinking if ever replacing the play-by-play crew? I feel they need a fresh voice, my suggestion would be the broadcaster of last night Mariner game. I don't know his name it was the first time I heard of him, but I know it wasn't Sims or Rizzs. By the way Rizzs should be considered his goodbye baseball call is best in baseball for homers. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...s_broadcasters

I know that but commentary needs a new team down the road or you going to play this game with same announcers forever. They need new voices plain and simple at least by MLBTS 18

I must be in the minority, but this announcing team doesn't bother me. In fact, I like them.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I know potential fluctuates in franchise mode. I apologize if this has been answered I never noticed it til today.

I was looking at Player Cards and I was looking at Dallas Kuechel and his potential on his player Card is a D, but when you go to the player edit screen his potential is at 83 so that rating doesn't fluctuate to reflect his D potential on the player card?

Was it possibly his OVR that is 83?
As soon as the potential changes in the editor...it is supposed to reflect that in a letter change as well.

I went back to double check. No his potential is at 83, but his potential on his player card is a D. Same goes for Colin McHugh. His potention is 80, but his card is a D. Kuechel's overall is an 80. McHugh's was 81

I also checked my players as well. Taijuan Walker's potential went to an A on his card, but in the editor he's an 87.

Also saw Paul Konerko getting + boosts in ratings instead of minus at age 37.

Hmmm...what time of year is this?

The part about Konerko is possible now.....part of the "watch your players" instead of "set 'em and forget" program.
