Price 3 hit the Mets in Game 1 and they whooped on Wheeler for 9 runs on 10 hits.
Game 2 was close....and the Mets kept it tied going into the ninth...but Sean Rodriguez hit a walk off solo homer to win it for the Rays
Game 3 in CitiField was no better as the Rays took that game 7-1. The Mets, despite 5 walks couldn't get timely hitting and left 10 men on base. Gee was erratic as well and gave up 4 walks.....and when he did get the ball in the zone...the Rays hit it.
Down 3 games to none doesn't bode well.

Brutal man. Hopefully your Mets have some 2004 Red Sox in them and come back from 3-0. Otherwise good luck in the off season lol.

I would say that just getting the 2014 Mets into the World Series is a major miracle in itself. So, it's all icing from there.

Yeah.....just making the playoffs was enough!

But the run is over....Tampa Bay crushed us in five.

Granderson was the Mets playoff MVP....with 5 homers batting over .300

        On to the off season.
Very happy with the Met pitching(especially with Harvey coming back in 2015)...but I will need a few RP's and at least one big bat.

With 5 games left in the regular season, we have clinched the NL Central for the 2nd straight year. The Cubs and Reds have been playing poorly over the last two weeks and we ran off 5 straight wins, with 3 of those being walkoffs!!!

Now I am battling the Dodgers for the best record in the NL. We are both 91-66 with 5 games left to play.

                          2014 Seattle Mariners

                          54-43

Alright. Finished up the All Star Break. Played the ASG as the AL and won 3-0. Corey Hart hit a 2 run homer off of Clayton Kershaw in the 4th inning and Jason Kipnis hit a solo homer in the 8th inning off of Craig Kimbral. Hart was named MVP going 2-3 with a HR and 2 RBI. Played the Angels out of the All Star break. Lost the first two games. Game 1 I lost 3-2. C.J. Wilson, just shut me down. Game 2 I had a 5-2 lead going into the 5th inning and I get the first 2 batters out then give up a base hit and 2 walks then I just couldn't get anyone out and I gave up 4 runs. Down 6-5. I tied the game up at 6 in the 7th with a Corey Hart solo homer. 8th inning I get the first 2 bastters out. Give up a base hit then walk 2 to load the bases. I insert Tom Wilhelmsen and on the 1st pitch Stick Aybar hits and GRAND SLAM. I end up losing 10-6. I am Now 2.0 up on the Texas Rangers. I'm also on a 3 game losing streak.

We are at the final day of the season. I am battling the Dodgers (both 96-65) for home field in the NL. I am at the Reds while the Dodgers are at the Padres.

All divisional races are concluded with the winners being:

                            AL East - Rays
AL Central - Indians (best record)
                            AL West - Rangers

                            NL East - Nationals
                            NL Central - Cardinals
                            NL West - Dodgers

The wildcard spots on the other hand are as tight as they can be and still up for grabs.

                            AL Wildcard picture:

                            Royals - 86-79
                            A's - 86-79
                            Mariners - 85-80
                            BoSox - 85-80

                            NL Wildcard picture:

                            Diamondbacks -- clinched #1 WC
                            Cubs -- 88-77
                            Reds -- 87-78
                            Padres -- 87-78

I love baseball and the additional wildcard. This is why it was brought in to the game, to keep the races entertaining til the last pitch.

                              Diamondbacks -- clinched #1 WC
                              Cubs -- 88-77
                              Reds -- 87-78
                              Padres -- 87-78

I love baseball and the additional wildcard. This is why it was brought in to the game, to keep the races entertaining til the last pitch.

You still playing everything on default like before??? OS rosters??

Yes. I don't mess with sliders. And I'm using the OS rosters. Love having the real minor leaguers in the game. And then after the draft, I plug in the Top 50 College Prospects for the first year and then the 2nd year I used the Top 50 High School prospects to name some of the drafted players.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
