seriously... i'm gonna turn the commentary off just to stop eric karros from making the SAME COMMENT about the visiting team getting BACK TO THE 500 MARK, regardless of WHAT their record is. just because the the only improvement this year in RTTS is the ability to skip to the "next appearance" (a blessing, btw!) does that mean they totally neglected testing this mode? because i'm telling you... it happens EVERY GAME.

Has anyone else noticed absolutely ridiculous simulated scoring? I've seen countless games now with 7-10 run innings being simulated. In one game I was down 21-2 by the third inning.

I've never seen anything like this in real baseball and it's highly frustrating because even if I seem to be having a really good inning, or bring us back from a deficit, the next inning we may be down by 8 runs again.

I mean, I've seen some high scoring games... but nothing quite that insane. Wow.

Another no decision. That's about 7 so far. Only one of those have I left the game tied or behind. My most recent one I finished with 14 Ks, 3 BB, 3 hits & 1 ER in 7 innings. My era is at 2.45. 65 strikeouts with only 6 walks.

To clarify I don't mean there have been 7 innings with 10 runs scored, I just mean there have been many instance where an opponent scores 7 to 10 runs in a single inning, and sometimes in multiple innings in a single game.

Had my single greatest two-game stretch in my MLB 15 Road to the Show career so far. Played the first game, CPU sat me out for a few games, and then I dominated in the next game as well. Both were multi-HR games!

i'm shocked and embarassed, then. lol. i've played this mode pretty much exclusively for at least 4 years now. i even brought over my rtts player from mlb 14 the show, and i'm in year 2021. how did i never notice this before? so i played every game, standing on the base after a hit or walk, watching what seemed like a full-count on every subsequent at-bat, each inning, for about a thousand games?! and i could have skipped to my next appearance every time that i didn't wanna steal a base? omg...

Good for you that this game does not follow real life. I am not sure any team, but especially the Athletics, would take on that 24 million dollars this year. The contract then escalates 1 million every year until it hits 30 million.

Quick question for the veteran shortstops. I've only ever played OF, 1B, C or Pitcher and this is my first time as SS. I've gotten my arm strength up to 95 and fielding/reaction/accuracy all to 85+. However, I've had ground balls that are not too slow, but not too fast that my SS will wait for since it's not slow enough to charge. I'm pretty sure I've preloaded the throw, but in quite a few instances, I will see a hitch in the throwing motion like he's not sure about throwing (even with no one on base), then throw the ball to 1st just for the runner to be safe by half a step. Is there a way for me to eliminate that throwing hitch? It's caused me to lose games more than once.

Yes, you could have paused the game all those times and clicked on "Next Appearance" lol

Powered through Double-A & Triple-A and now I'm in the Majors. First game in the Majors was June 16th of Year 1 as an 18-year old rookie!

Pretty happy with how things are progressing for my SS in Road to the Show. Anyone doing a pitcher in RTTS? Seriously considering starting one.

I've created a starting pitcher and am enjoying it way more than a position player.

Got drafted in the 2nd round by the Phillies and went to AA. Having a pretty good year with AA, working on training points and all, got my 4seamer up to about 97 and the Phillies bought my contract in June of the 1st year.

In my first two games with the Phillies, I got pegged by 3 hit balls, and then threw my back out on a pitch and missed a few games. Other than playing for the Phillies it's been a blast. My only frustration has been my ERA. So far in the majors I've never given up more than 1 run a game. Even when I've loaded the based I've managed to get myself out of trouble.

Twice now however my manager has pulled me and then the reliever has allowed the runs to come in. Since I put the runners on base they count as my earned runs even though I would have gotten myself out of trouble
