Re: A problem with year to year saves
Took me a good half hour to figure out I couldn't transfer from PS3 to ps4. That sucks. I called game stop and they won't let me borrow a copy of mlb 14 for ps4 which is disappointing. I do want to start a new rtts but the rosters aren't even close to being right and they don't even have the Cubs main three prospects. So whenever that roster update come I'll start playing this game. Until then back to destiny.Comment

Very disappointing and surprising that you can't turn off mg contracts in a y2y save franchiseComment

Re: A problem with year to year saves
One idea is to go to GameFly- do the 30 day trial and have them send you the MLB 14 PS4 version. I tried Redbox where I live but they no longer carry 14 but only 15. Anyway, Gamefly will send it free - you can use it, send it back and cancel your free trial. Just depends how important porting this over is.
I have to admit I listened to the Twitch video again and I still didn't get it. Could have been clearer.
Welp just wasted money here ended up getting the PS3 Version of 14 and uploaded it to the cloud thinking it would recognize it.Last edited by RoyceDa59; 03-31-2015, 06:01 PM.Comment

Re: A problem with year to year saves
Anyone else notice that when you import an in-season Franchise save from MLB '14 on PS4, the players features cannot be edited, such as face, hair, skin tone, height, weight etc? Very bizzare why they would do that...just being able to change their names and gear is not enough!PSN ID: artvandelegheComment

Re: A problem with year to year saves
I did this but realized I also need the PS4 version as well, wouldn't look right if I went back and exchanged it for the PS4 version as well and then returned it, I am sure questions would be asked. Really would like to use my RttS guy I reached the year 2018 with him but I'll get over it, just feel like it is too much work to transfer save a few save files especially coming from the PS3.Comment

Honestly, it's none of the store's business why you're returning the item, as long as it's returned within the guideliness of their listed policy.
Think about it: How many return policies have you seen that excluded refunds on merchandise if the cashier didn't deem the excuse worthy enough?Comment

Re: A problem with year to year saves
does anyone know why when importing a Y2Y save some guys get updated photos and others do not?
Example, I imported my 14 save file and Upton and Kemp and Norris have their updated Padre photos, however Shields, Morrow, Kelley and Maurer do not. They have the cyberface picture instead.
Edit - I also thought the SCEA caps would get the new facial scans too? I imported the SCEA CAP of a couple of Padre players, they do get audio added and some equipment, however the face is not updated, its how they looked in 14. When I look at Spangenberg he's clean shaven, in 15 default rosters he has a beard.Comment

Re: A problem with year to year saves
I had a problem with my 14 save file. It was an in game save, I was up 3-0 in the 6th inning and when I started playing it in 15 there were no hits registered and they kept talking about no hitters. When the game ended it had the hits correct, but when it took me back to the calender the game didn't register as a win for that day. It was like it never happened because when I simmed the rest of that days games it had simmed that one as well with a different outcome.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer
