Dumb question how do you manually injure a guy in MLB 15? I went to DL and hit R1 and it didnt pop up with the roster to move him to the DL, Im probably doing something dumb but any insight would be helpful.

In franchise mode before you start you go to Disabled list and press the bumpers and it should bring you to the roster where you can apply injuries manually.

It has to be in franchise. I noticed it doesn't work in Season mode.

Go to user settings, Gameplay options, General (advanced), Set injuries to Manual. Then go to the DL and hit R1. Be sure to go back to the settings and set the injuries to on after you are done so players will get hurt on their own again..

Can't decide if I want to roll with the Cubs or Pirates. Ugh. Decisions!

I've started my Cubs franchise yesterday and I love it. I'm 2-2 right now. I like to play everygame in the season. So I can control every stat of my team. I only play like two or three games per day. I take my time.


Wrigley Field looks gorgeous in this game btw. It's like you're there almost.

Update on this Mets miraculous season. We ran into the Cardinals in round 1. Got swept. We won 101 games somehow. Safe to say Collins is done after that. Now to implement the plans for 2016.

Hey Guys,
Have a question for you. How do you know when it's time to call up a prospect? I have two 23 yr old blue clippers who have high contact against lefties but not righties. Is it worth letting them continue to develop in the minors or bring up now?

If they struggle in the majors, I'm assuming they won't gain attributes as quickly as they would in the minors, correct?

I feel you, Ryu in my game is 0-4. I need him to get out of the funk because my 4 and 5 starters aren't doing so well either. I traded Hector Olivera and Darnell Sweeney to the Royals for prospect Kyle Zimmer in hopes that he could come up and do better at either 4 or 5 but he isn't ready for the majors just yet.

Going to be hell for me if my 3, 4 and 5 starters cant step up and do their part. Also, the Dbacks could go to hell! Bronson Arroyo, Jeremy Hellickson and along with Goldschmidt's bat have owned me so far in my franchise. I think I'm 2-5 against the Dbacks.

i hot the injury bug!

i lost kershaw for a month( still on the DL)

i call up weiland??? in his first start he gets rocked 4 ip 7 ER after a grandslam after the ump gave me bad calls

and the 2nd start he is pitching well 4 shut out innings then he gets hurt.. my luck

i still manage to go 8-2 in the last 10 games even with a wack bullpen

You don't know how bad I want to call Urias up but I won't do it because

1. He still has some improvement to do
2. He's 18
3. Having 4 left handed pitchers in my rotation is a no go for me.

I need to find a right handed veteran pitcher to trade for, maybe a Kris Medlen.

Took 2 out of 3 from the O's. Pineda, Warren, and the bullpen were phenomenal in the series. 23 innings pitched only 3 ER given up. Plenty of clutch strike outs. Unfortunately, in between those efforts was another subpar effort from CC. 6 runs given up in 4 innings in the 2nd game of the series. He's now 0-2 with an ERA approaching 8. I just don't know what to do with this guy. Right now he's the 4th stater in my rotation just in front of Eovaldi. I'm just hoping that he gets an injury of some sort. I already have my candidates/wish list for pitchers who can replace him. High up on that list is Jered Weaver of the Angels. Hopefully they're out of it by June so I can scoop him up.

As far as the hitting goes. I'm still struggling with TNK sliders. Perhaps I need to change the camera angle as I'm striking out at least 10 times per game. I won each game of the series by 1 run. If it weren't for a couple of clutch home runs, I could have easily been swept in this series. I'll take it though.

As it stands, I'm tied for first in the AL East with the O's. Both teams have a 6-3 record.

Off topic but a general franchise question. How many of you play with budgets on. Its hard for me to b/c of the no salary cap, but I feel franchise or at least my franchise has become boring without budgets on
