I am an amazing 24-8 with the Indians now. Looking to sweep the Cardinals 3-0 tonight! I'm in mid May currently. Offense is really good batting .260 as a team. Pitching has been stellar as of late. Keep waiting for a solid 6-10 game losing streak but it hasn't happened yet!

Man...I was starting off the season the right way with Pittsburgh to the tune of 8-6 and absolutely ripping the cover off the ball. Well a 5-game slide after dropping two vs Chicago and a 3-game sweep vs Arizona and I'm not feeling too great. I have a 3-game series at Wrigley to finish up April and really need to get a few W's.

Currently scoring 4.53 runs per game and giving up 4.32. I'm losing the close ones...

Just finished taking 2 of 3 on the road against the Brewers. We lost Jon Jay for 2-3 weeks with a pulled calf muscle. Called up Thomas Pham and Bourjos will be the everyday Center Fielder.

Next up its 4 games in Busch vs the struggling Phillies to close out the month of April.

Re: MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

In my carry over franchise from 14, I'm in the first week of August with the Cubs and currently have a 5 game lead on Stl in the Central. Game 2 vs the Rockies in Colorado, down 5-2 in the ninth, they bring in their closer LaTroy Hawkins. First batter Schierholtz cranks one out to RF, now 5-3. Olt comes up and doubles, Soler up next, doubles Olt home, now 5-4. Baez up and Crushes one to Center up 6-5! That would end the scoring in the 9th. I did have 2 more hitters reach but they were stranded. Rockies tie it up in the bottom of the 9th and go on to win it in the bottom of the 14th on a Cuddyer HR. Great game even though I lost.

In another "online"(emailing back and forth to preserve all the feautres from offline) franchise I have started out 2-0 with the Braves. Teheran went 7, gave up 1 unearned run and my offense had a 3 run 9th to win 7-2. Wood went 7.2 as I went on to win 2-0 in game 2.

Just playing with the new Braves roster feels better than last year. The ratings may say they are not as good, but I actually have a lineup that is not all power and strikeouts. I may have only scored 2 runs, but I only struck out a few times. Putting the ball in play and playing small ball with all this speed is going to be fun.

Doing a franchise with the Twins until V.2 of OSFM comes out and have made it to the post season. We ended the season on a 6 game losing streak so I'm not all that confident going into the series against the Rays in the ALDS.

Things didnt end how we would have liked. But it was a damn good ride until the very end. Now with the team leader and one of the teams best players in recent memory now gone. Are there enough pieces to do it all over again?

Kendrys Morales and Alex Rios were brought in over the winter to help with the loss of Billy Butler. The young fire thrower Yordano Ventura steps in as the ace of the team. Edison Volquez was brought in as well. Not necessarily to replace James Shields. But no matter what that is who he will be compared to. The lethal bullpen combination of Herrera, Davis and Holland (HDH) are back. Add in Luke Hochevar at some point. As well as Kris Medlen possibly. Its pretty clear who has the best pen heading into the year. 3 Gold gloves, 1 who should have won and at least 1 moer that could win one in the future. Defense, Speed and the pen will make or break this team. Its not the typical combination for a winning team. But it sure as hell worked last year.

I threw a 1 hitter with Bumgarner on Opening Day and lost 1-0 but restarting since OSFM rosters are out....i assume ill just have to put the real contracts in

                            MLB 15 Franchise Progress Thread

Started my Cubs franchise tonight and made a few trades in spring training. Sent Wood, Castillo, and Olt to Cleveland for Carrasco. Hendricks and Maples to Arizona for Tomas. Almora, Herrera, and a minor league pitcher to Tampa for Smyly and Hak Ju-Lee.

                            Lineup:

                            CF Fowler
                            SS Castro
                            1B Rizzo
                            RF Soler
                            3B Bryant
                            C Montero
                            LF Yasmany Tomas
                            2B Baez

                            Rotation

                            Lester
                            Arrieta
                            Carlos Carrasco
                            Drew Smyly
                            Hammel

Currently 2-0 and going for the sweep on the stupid Cardinals. Tomas hit a solo shot and a three run dong off Wainwright in the opener. I've also struck out twice with the bases loaded with Bryant. I just want it too badly, lol.
