Re: Official MLB 16 : Road to the Show Thread
I've been cranking a lot of points into my arm and accuracy. And it seems that I can just never throw anyone out going to home. Running start or not. My throw is either short or wide. And my arm is at 96, my accuracy is 77. I mean, yeah, Not the greatest accuracy, but I should be able to get some people out or at least make it close. But it's like it doesn't matter.
But let me try to run through a stop sign. I'll get thrown out like it's easy. Throw is always on line when the CPU is throwing.Comment

Anything I can do for the AA manager to stop using me as a DH? Created a LF, pretty solid defensive stats - the guy that plays LF is 27, and stinks. Been a month. DH sucks. On Seattle. Next time I pick an NL team. Thanks.Favorites:

Re: Official MLB 16 : Road to the Show Thread
Can you use interactions to ask for time in LF? If you really want to know, then turn off auto-save and sim ahead just to see what's in store for you. Sure, the future is performance based but you get a very accurate result.
Like my 1B. I wanted to see if I was gonna get called up so I simmed two months and saw that I was called up as a DH in the majors in June. I didn't like that so I put a couple of points in fielding, reaction etc and tried it again. This time I got called up on the exact same date but as a 1B.
With that in mind I just put the points in there and played like usual and got called up a day earlier than my simulations. I normally don't sim ahead because it kinda ruins the fun but that time I really didn't care because I was so eager to get up in the big boy league.Comment

Thanks for the response.Last edited by Mitchrapp; 05-04-2016, 04:52 PM.Favorites:

How many other people are having issues with the game switching baserunning between Auto and Assist. This is incredibly frustrating as it costs me runs and valuable bases.Comment

Anyone seeing dynamic difficulty jump too much? I play with the slider on 5 and I grounded out and the bar went all the way from 3/4 full to around the 1/4 mark. Seems too big of a jump..it doesn't move that much even with the slider on 10.Comment

I'm not seeing the progression bar at all. I've tried all three settings for it & nothing. I have no clue where I'm at.

Re: Official MLB 16 : Road to the Show Thread
How long does it take to get called up when you're a closer? On my second year, still in Double A.. I lead the league in saves and ERA was ridiculously low, along with a multitude of strike outs.
Is it based on rating or performance? My guy is only 61 overall, but with A potential. I want to close some MLB games alreadyComment

I have not kept up with any patched did the fix the bug where Dynamic Difficulty was not advancing in RTTS? I was going to use it this year and it was broke.Comment

It advances. Just falls at an incredibly high pace sometimes. It's strange.Comment

Re: Official MLB 16 : Road to the Show Thread
I created a 3b drafted 2nd round to atlanta. Switch hitter decent glove. Called up after 43 games in double a to the majors. Swanson and Albies called up just before me. Atlanta traded for Heyward and along with freeman this core has been incredible. I won the ROY in 16 and we barely missed the playoffs. I won the NL MVP from 2017-2026. I've played 11 seasons and this group won 8 WS. I took several one year team friendly deals so they could keep the core in tact. At age 28 I signed a 12 year deal for 400mil to stay in atlanta. The rest of the core is gone to other teams or retired. Heyward made the HOF in 2023. Our team is rebuilding but I'm in it for the long haul. 11 season and I'm approaching 600 hrs. It's been fun.Comment

Re: Official MLB 16 : Road to the Show Thread
So after spending 2016/2017 in the minors (the latter a lot due to injury) I played my 1st major league season with Atlanta in 2018 as a defensive speed SS.
2018: .230 Avg, 0 HR, 14 RBI, 73 Games (injuries)
2019: .251 Avg, 0 HR, 21 RBI, 64 Games (Injuries)
2020: .500 Avg, 3 HR, 5 RBI after just the first 3 games. My first two homeruns came from inside the park runs then in game 3 I sent one over the fence in left.
I add alittle to my power after every season. So I went from 35 power to 46 this season.Comment

Wow did you play all those games or have you been simming?
I'm in year 11 of my career while playing every game (lost one season to injury so actually the 10th full season) and I started my guy on MLB 14 and have carried the save over twice now lol.Comment
