ill try to stick on HOF but lower CPU hitting. Do you think touching CPU POWER and CPU Timing will do the trick? Thing is, some games im giving up only 6 hits, but 3 or 4 are home runs

I would leave CPU Timing where you have it, and try lowering CPU Power.

Any advice on what to do? Just stick it out and see if my pitching gets better?

So far im 8-12 in my franchise, have given up atlaest 1 HR in every game. I put CPU Timing down to 4 and everything else default

Just to let you know, the MLB average for HR Allowed per game is 1.17, with the worst at 1.61 (Cincinnati) and best at 0.93 (Miami, NY Mets).

Also, you'll get better at pitching on HOF, just try to stay out of predictable patterns, especially later on in the game even though one thing may have been working all game. As pitchers tire they start to miss their spots just enough to allow good wood eventually.

Re: MLB 16 Franchise Progress Thread

Finally got through my offseason. Firstly, I let go of Saunders, Benoit, Navarro, Floyd, and Feldman. Dickey and Grilli retired.

I started by locking up EE to a 4 year deal and Bautista accepted his qualifying offer of 1 year 16 M so I retained both sluggers. Wilson Ramos was hitting the open market and I found him to be intriguing. After a dog fight with NY and Washington I grabbed him for a 4 year deal worth around 12 per. He will be play full time by being my DH and split catcher with Martin. With not much money left for new guys I had to be creative with the bullpen and new additions to the roster. Didn't make any trades but signed Brandon Moss, Ivan Nova, Ross Ohlendorf, Jorge de la Rosa, Carlos Villanueva, Al Alburquerque, Jon Jay Steve Clevenger and Eduardo Eacobar.

After spring training Devon Travis went down and will miss the first 2 weeks of the season. Here is the lineup and rotation for the next year:

          C - Martin, Ramos, Clevenger
          1B - EE, Moss, Clevenger
2B - Travis (DL), EscobAr, Goins
          3B - DonAldson
          SS - Tulo
          LF - Moss/Jennings platoon
          CF - Pillar, Jay
          RF - Bautista

SP - Stroman, Sanchez, Liriano, Estrada, Happ

Bullpen - Osuna, Cecil, Ohlendorf, Loup, Alberquerque, Nova, de la Rosa.

Notable depth: Dom Brown, Seth Smith, Gordon Beckham, Brandon Barnes, DAlton Pompey, Andy Burns, Justin Smoak, Dominguez, Montero, Mathis/Jiminez

Unbelievable. That sucks. Would love to see an 18 inning game seven in the World Series. Do you plan on keeping this going?

Re: MLB 16 Franchise Progress Thread

You think I would have been going nuts but I just wanted the game and season to be over. I had several chances to win in extras including the bottom of the 18th but could pull it off. The crazy thing is I won game 6 in 10 innings after blowing a lead. Also I came back from behind in the 10th inning of game 7 of the NLCS. I was hoping to finish the season before madden dropped but it didn't happen.

Great question in continuing. My plan has been to play 1 season a year and import the franchise. I didn't purchase 16 because the moral bug and I already summed to opening day. So two entire seasons on 15 has been a grind. Really the only reason I finished this year is I work from home and I have a method where I take a break about every half hour and place one inning. If my situation is the same next spring I might continue but I don't even want to think about grinning another season and playoffs now.

I probably need to get a copy of 16 just to import so I can import to 17. I'm just keeping my save at the last day of World Series until I import.

Unfortunately, unless 17 somehow fixes the issue, your stats won't import properly either. This is why I started over after playing all 162 last year...and missing the wildcard by one game...just like the 2016 Tigers are about to do!

Yeah, I thought that issue was because some of the stats tracked are new. I can live with that and am more worried about moral. If I continue I'm excited for a guy I drafted this year and all my roster moves good and bad. Lost the World Series because of a weak bullpen which was an issues all year.

Morale issues were fixed after you got to the offseason. So really, a good time to buy 16 would have been when you were in game 7.

After playing every pitch of my Cubs season (something I've now done three times in my video game career), I played the Dodgers in the NLDS, and it was tight.

W 2-1 in 10 innings in game one, with all three runs on solo homers.

W 5-4 in 12 innings in game two, after going down 4-0 in the first inning on a grand slam. Pulled Lester after 4, and my bullpen held them scoreless the rest of the way.

W 3-1 in game three, with all four runs coming in the 4th inning.

The postseason feels tighter and more challenging. I enjoy it. Moving onto the NLCS to face the Giants.
Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.

Second Attempt at Complete Season (First Attempt got accidentally deleted in August )
All-Star Zone Flick Analog Hitting, Legend Pure Analog Pitching. Every Inning.

New York Mets. Fortunate enough to not have any injuries to any big names on my team. Finished First in the National League East with a record of 102-60. Noah Syndergaard named MVP AND CY Young finishing with record of 21-8 with a 2.82 ERA and 259 K. Cespedes had 45 HR and 107 RBI. Wright finished with a .298 BA and Familia had 51 Saves.

What I did for the Postseason was play in every game with every team. Alternate teams for NLDS, ALDS and NLCS so I was able to enjoy all of the games in the postseason not just my team. (Played 1st inning, Simmed to 7th, played from there).

First Round of Postseason, Mets beat Pirates 3-1 in NLDS.

Second Round. NLCS. Mets (102-60) vs. Cubs (99-63).
Cubs take game 1 and 2 at Citi Field.
Mets heading into Top 9 Down 3-2 looking at a 3 games to none deficit, facing Aroldis Chapman, Wilmer Flores Home Run to Tie the Game! End up winning game 3 5-3.
Mets Continue to win Game 4 and 5 to take a 3 games to 2 lead going back home.
Game 6. Syndergaard vs. Arrieta. Go into top of the 9th still scoreless. Kris Bryant drives in 2 out run to go ahead 1-0. Cubs win Game 6 to force a Game 7.
Game 7. Matz vs. Lester. Lagares hits leadoff Home Run in 1st inning. Added another homerun in the 3rd. Conforto off the bench hits a 2 run home run. Mets Clinch Game 7 (Series of my life in any baseball video game).

Heading to the World Series to face the Cleveland Indians.

Completed my first full season, playing every game in along, long time. Had the best record in the NL with 105 wins but lost in typical Cubs fashion in the NLCS to the Los Angeles Dodgers. I was up 3-2 in the series with Games 6 and 7 both at Wrigley. Lost them both.
