Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I have searched the thread but couldn't find anything about it. With the rumors of Pirates dealing McCutchen, what would a deal in your opinion look like assuming he had similar numbers in my franchise as he did in real life?Comment

MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I am actually starting a Braves franchise as I want to carry it over as I for whatever reason I always have to start my Oriole franchise over each year with the current roster. Albies and Ruiz are both A potential prospects in the OSFM World Series roster that I am using. Would I be safe to assume that one of those guys plus Allard would be enough? Or do I need to include another low B-High C potential prospect?Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm thinking about starting an Angels rebuild to play through the winter and maybe transfer over. What realistically do you see as the trade value of Simmons and Calhoun? (great name for a buddy cop show btw)
Both look to be my most valuable, expendable assets who could net me some much needed position player prospects. How much do you think each are worth? I know Simmons was traded last year by the Braves, but was what they got about his value? As I struggle to trust the Braves front office's ability to get fair value in a trade tbhComment

I know I'm a bit biased by being a Braves fan but is this real? The only bad trade they've made recently was the Olivera deal.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Yeah, after I saw a deal was imminent I figured I would wait to see what the deal is going to be.
What should Ruiz be rated? Low B-potential because of his contact numbers?Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
I think Frazier is safe since he is redundant with Meadows.Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
Yeah somewhere in the B to low B range. He hasn't been close to an A potential guy so far in his pro careerComment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
In the offseason of year one, looking to deal for a top of the rotation starter as the Braves. Would this package work?
A's send:
Sonny Gray (222.2 IP, 3.95 WAR, 3.35 ERA, 3.60 FIP)
Braves send:
Mike Foltynewicz (163 IP, 3.05 WAR, 3.81 ERA, 3.61 FIP)
Ozzie Albies (low A)
Drafted SP (3rd round, 18 yo, high B)
Rio Ruiz (low B)Comment

Re: MLB 16 Trade Discussion Thread
That doesn't seem like a lot for Gray. But I believe his value is largely based on his performance. If he's playing like he did irl then yeah ur package seems abt right. But if he has a solid season like in my franchise I'm not sure that gets it done.Comment
