I would really like to bring Mitch Moreland to the Cardinals. What would be fair compensation in return?

Ryan Flaherty? C - C+ arm and maybe Mossy. Just depends if they're in or out I suppose.

Epinoza, Moncada, Benintendi, Owens/Devers seems like good value.

Sorry for double post in advance.

Maybe last year's thread, first post.

If I'm the Tigers and said teams are all out of the playoff hunt then who is a #2 or #3 pitcher I could target. I was looking at guys like Cobb, Smyly, Alvarez, Bauer, Wacha, Julio Teheran etc.

You're biggest problem is going to be how little the farm has to offer. Bauer and Teheran seem like the most attainable but I'm not sure Detroit has the movable pieces to work something out. Who were you looking to trade to try to make something happen?

Not asking for realistic but for fairness. Is a Votto swap for Tulowitzki fairish? Im a huge Votto fan and being that he's Canadian id like to have him on the Jays. I know neither team would do that trade but according to their ratings they seem fairly similar in value and contract. I'm not good at this stuff. Do you guys think its fair?

As I said before, I will play as the White Sox and if things go south, I will rebuild. Not a full blown one as:

Quintana: signed for this season plus 4 more,
Sale and Abreu: this season plus 3 more,
Rodon: under control for this year plus 5 more,
Eaton locked up for another 4-5 years.
And Fulmer and Tim Anderson coming up for me.

But guys like Frazier, Lawrie, Avi (depending on how he's hitting for me), Melky, Robertson and other relievers can be available. But it is fun to think about how much I can get back for the guys mentioned above.

My pre-season prediction was that the Jays trade for Votto. He would bat second for a few months and helps soften the loss of Encarnacion and Bautista after this year. And he's Canadian. But probably not for Tulo.

2 days away from the trade deadline, want to move these guys out of Atlanta.

                            Freddie Freeman: 289/374/443, 13 hr, 41 rbi.
                            Erick Aybar: 265/329/389, 8 hr, 35 rbi.
                            Hector Olivera: 244/287/388, 12 hr, 44 rbi.
                            Nick Markakis: 326/397/468, 9 hr, 38 rbi.
                            Julio Teheran: 4.08 era, 1.31 whip, 125.2 IP, 116 K, 8-7
                            Jason Grilli: 1.85 era, 0.78 whip, 25 K, 24 IP, 22 saves.

Teams who have or are at least within 2 games of a playoff spot.
Mets, Marlins, Nats, Cubs, Dodgers, Giants, Cards, Pirates
Toronto, Tigers, Indians, Mariners, Astros, Angels, Yankees, Red Sox, Royals,

Any rough idea of trade partners for any of these guys. Any way to get Tyler Glasnow, AJ Reed, Gleyber Torres, Eloy Jiminez. If not any trades you can think of for any of the ATL guys?

Freeman is the only guy who is going to be able to bring back a top prospect type of guy like you mentioned. Nobody else could be traded for those type of prospects.

If Teheran was pitching better he could net you something nice but with the numbers he has for you, you'd be selling low.

The rest of the guys don't have a lot of value. Someone would look at Markakis with those numbers and flip back a decent prospect, but nothing spectacular. Grilli is probably the same way to a team with a depleted bullpen.
